#PluginUpdate Version 3.0.0 of Payment Gateway Based Fees and Discounts for #WooCommerce brings improvements to make checkout calculations more accurate & reliable. What’s new: ✔ Added alg_wc_checkout_fees_rule_card_fee_amount filter to modify cart rule fee amounts. ✔ In Block Checkout, the Place Order button is temporarily disabled while fees/discounts are recalculated after switching payment gateways. ✔ Added alg_wc_gateway_fee_is_taxable filter to prevent tax calculation when the cart contains only non-taxable products. 💡 Example: Imagine a store that adds a 2% fee for credit card payments but not for bank transfers. When a customer switches from bank transfer to credit card during checkout, the plugin now recalculates the fee correctly before the order is placed - ensuring the final total is accurate. At BitBag, we've been talking with developers, store owners and agencies working with PrestaShop lately, and we can see similar patterns from various discussions. PrestaShop works great at the beginning. Mostly, because of lower entry cost, relatively quick launch and plenty of ready-to-use modules. When the business grows, it usually comes with a much larger catalogue, more orders and integrations.
