Following our time in Paris, we also joined Webwinkel Vakdagen in Utrecht 🦢💚 This was another opportunity to meet the local eCommerce community and continue conversations around open-source, integrations, and real project challenges. A big thank you to Ergonode PIM for inviting us to their booth and hosting us throughout the event. It created a great space for discussions with developers, partners, and merchants working on complex commerce setups. We also had the chance to reconnect with many familiar faces from the ecosystem, including partners and contributors working across payments, PIM, frontend, and platform integrations. These meetings continue to show how interconnected the Sylius ecosystem is across different markets. #Events like Webwinkel Vakdagen are a good reminder that building #eCommerce is rarely about a single tool; it’s about collaboration between #platforms, #plugins, and #teams. We’ll be seeing each other again soon, this time in Poland 🤩

We’ve got your back - as long as you stay updated! 🦢 Sylius is open-source and released under the MIT license. In today’s environment, this is an advantage - it allows the platform to evolve continuously, driven not only by our team but also by the community and ecosystem around it. Over the past month, nearly 200 pull requests have been merged into Sylius. Each of them contributes to something concrete: security fixes, compatibility with newer dependencies, performance improvements, or better developer experience. This ongoing development creates value, but only if your project stays aligned with it. Running on older versions or unmaintained plugins means operating outside of what is actively maintained and verified. In practice, this leads to increasing risk, from outdated dependencies to missing security updates, and makes further development more complex over time. As the team behind Sylius, we recommend regularly updating your projects and extensions to stay aligned with the platform. If you need support in assessing your current setup or planning next steps, we can connect you with trusted partners or support you with a technical audit. 📩  sylius.com/contact

Sylius Plus is an extension of Sylius that adds ready-to-use features for building eCommerce projects. 🦢➕ Its key concept is MODULARITY. Instead of working with a fixed set of functionalities, Sylius Plus is built from independent modules that can be selected based on your business model and project scope. You use only what you need, without adding unnecessary complexity. This is what makes it different. It allows you to shape the platform around your business, not adjust your business to the platform. Sylius Plus provides modules covering areas such as B2B, marketplaces, multi-store setups, inventory, checkout, returns, and access management. These are practical building blocks that reduce the need to build common features from scratch and help teams move faster. In practice, this means quicker project start, shorter implementation time, and more focus on what matters in your business. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of joining #EO2S in Paris and the honour of closing the event with a speech by Mikołaj Król, CEO of both Sylius and PrestaShop. 🇫🇷 A big thank you to Friends of Presta for organizing and bringing the community together. This was our first time attending an event alongside PrestaShop - great to be part of it and connect with so many of you. What stood out clearly is how much both communities have in common: a strong open-source foundation, a technical mindset, and a shared belief that real progress comes from collaboration across the ecosystem. Special thanks to Loïc Caillieux from EMAGMA and Stephan Hochdörfer from bitExpert AG for representing Sylius on stage and delivering a great presentation. We really appreciate your support! 🫶 Next stop for us with PrestaShop is the E-commerce Warsaw Expo - see you! 📍🇵🇱

This Monday, we launched the #SyliusAddonsMarketplace, a central place to explore the Sylius ecosystem. 🦢 Beyond plugins and modules, the Marketplace also includes our distributions: #Dafré, #Elesto, and SOON #Solenne. These are reference implementations designed to present how different commerce models can be structured and delivered with Sylius in projects. #Dafré focuses on the marketplace model, covering key aspects such as vendor onboarding, product ownership, and order management in a multi-vendor environment. It provides a clear view of how marketplace operations can be organised on top of Sylius. #Elesto represents the B2B approach, including company accounts, customer-specific pricing, and more complex order workflows. It reflects typical requirements of B2B commerce and shows how they can be addressed within a scalable architecture. #Solenne, currently in development, explores a composable storefront approach tailored to the fashion industry, extending Sylius into modern frontend architectures. Both Dafre and Elesto are built on top of Sylius Plus modules and represent nearly 4,000 hours of our development work. They are a solid foundation and reference point for teams designing custom commerce solutions. For agencies and merchants, this means faster project initiation, better understanding of architectural decisions, and access to proven patterns that can be adapted to specific business needs. You can explore all distributions directly on the Sylius Addons Marketplace or book a demo to see how they can be applied in your context! 🛒 https://lnkd.in/eckQ4WqD
