It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update. Most of my focus this year has been on building the foundation for something new. After months of alignment and design work, our Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) capability is moving from concept to reality—connecting how strategy turns into outcomes across the enterprise. For me, this milestone represents more than a system launch. It’s a shift in how I think about leadership. Transformation isn’t about changing tools or terminology. It’s about helping people see the system they work in and giving them the clarity to make better decisions. I’ve learned that progress at scale happens when you slow down enough to connect the dots: strategy, funding, and delivery—and make that connection visible for everyone. For anyone leading large-scale change, that visibility is everything. It builds trust, alignment, and momentum. Over the coming weeks, I’ll share a few lessons learned and insights from this transformation—what’s working, what’s hard, and what’s worth carrying forward. #StrategicPortfolioManagement #Leadership #Transformation #EnterpriseExcellence

Strategy Isn’t a Document It’s a Living Framework! Too often, businesses treat strategy as a document to be filed away after an annual planning session. But real strategy is not static, it’s alive. Markets shift. Costs rise. Customer behavior evolves. The strategy you created six months ago must be refined to stay relevant. That’s why every business, no matter the size, should revisit its strategy regularly test assumptions, measure performance, and adjust direction. As CFOs and business leaders, our role is to ensure strategy moves from paper to practice. It should guide daily decision-making, resource allocation, and how we respond to financial realities on the ground. A strategy that doesn’t evolve becomes a risk. Keep it active. Keep it measurable. Keep it aligned with your business goals. How often do you refine your business strategy monthly, quarterly, or only when things go off track? #CFOInsights #BusinessStrategy #Leadership #FinancialManagement #SMEGrowth #ForwardThinking

📄 Can your entire growth strategy fit on a single page? For most mid-market companies, the answer is no. Strategy lives in slides, reports, and long meetings - making it hard for teams to stay aligned. The One Page Strategic Plan (OPSP) changes that. It brings clarity by forcing leaders to define: ✅ Core values & purpose ✅ Brand promise ✅ Long-term goals & BHAG ✅ Key priorities for the year & quarter ✅ Metrics that truly matter The impact is significant: research shows fewer than 10% of leadership teams can clearly articulate their strategy. Companies that close this gap with tools like the OPSP are twice as likely to achieve their growth targets. At our Scaling Up Business Growth Workshop (Brisbane, Oct 8), we’ll guide business leaders through building and applying the OPSP - so strategy isn’t just written, but lived. 👉 Clear strategy. Aligned execution. Scalable growth. Book your seat now: https://lnkd.in/gybuMxUB #Strategy #Execution #Brisbane #Scaling #Growth #BusinessWorkshop

We just wrapped up our Senior Leadership quarterly #EOS meetings, and one theme stood out: success is not about chasing today’s wins, but intentionally building for what comes next. Sustainable growth depends on structure: refining processes, investing in systems, and building teams that can scale without losing quality or customer connection. We’re continuously exploring where automation and AI can increase speed and throughput while preserving the human side of what we do...the relationships, insights, trust, and delivery that drive true customer success. We also revisit our long-range objectives regularly to ensure our structure, processes, and people are still aligned to where we want to go. Rapid growth can unintentionally change a firm's direction; staying intentional about where we are going is what separates momentum from drift. The goal isn’t just to grow, it’s to grow with purpose, and to make sure every improvement creates value for the customer along the way. #Leadership #CustomerSuccess #GrowthStrategy

The Outcome Mindset: Elevating Delivery Leadership Too often, “on-time delivery” is celebrated as a success. However, in today’s digital and cloud-driven world, true delivery leadership is measured by impact, value, and outcomes. Delivery is not merely about completing tasks; it’s about bridging execution with business outcomes and enabling teams to deliver meaningful results. Let’s embrace the outcome mindset and redefine what success truly looks like. What’s your perspective? Momentum and Reflection It’s been a strong few week, marked by higher visibility, new connections, and great conversations about leadership, data, and transformation. However,t momentum only matters if it leads to impact. Whether I’m working with a PE-backed portfolio company or stepping in fractionally, the focus is always the same: turn awareness into measurable results. That means aligning strategy to outcomes, delivering early wins, and building trust through transparency. In one engagement, we achieved measurable ROI within 45 days, improving visibility into key margin drivers that leadership had been blind to for years. That’s what execution looks like when strategy and accountability are aligned. Now the challenge shifts to sustaining it. Visibility can create noise. Leadership turns it into a signal, the kind that drives results quarter after quarter. 👉 How do you keep momentum from becoming just motion in your organization? It’s something I think about often as I build and lead transformation programs. #Leadership #Transformation #ExecutiveLeadership #FractionalLeadership #PrivateEquity #DigitalStrategy
