Big update to Document Library Pro 🚀 We’ve restructured the plugin to make it simpler and more flexible than ever. It now comes in two versions: ✅ Essentials – for smaller sites that need a simple, searchable document library. ✅ Advanced – for larger organisations that need bulk import, access control, version control, expiry dates, and more. Previously, customers had to combine Document Library Pro with our Password Protected Categories plugin to create private document libraries. This worked, but it wasn’t ideal. Now, everything is built directly into Document Library Pro - one plugin, one install, designed specifically for documents. All existing customers have been automatically upgraded to Advanced for free. Learn more about what’s new and why we made the change: https://lnkd.in/dcHv__H3

Implementing authentication in Next.js is challenging primarily because of its hybrid nature, which blends server-side and client-side rendering. This complexity has been amplified by the App Router and its "split-brain" model of Server Components and Client Components. You're not just securing a simple website; you're securing an application that runs in multiple environments (server, client, and middleware) at the same time. 🚀 Implemented a full JWT Auth flow in Next.js 15 — fully secure, fully server-rendered compatible. I built a robust authentication system in Next.js 15 that uses: 🔐 HTTP-only, SameSite, Secure cookies for storing tokens ⚡ Axios interceptors for automatic token refresh and handling 🧩 Next.js cookies() API in middleware for handling secure routes 🔄 Seamless auth across SSR, RSC, and client components. This setup ensures: ✅ Server-rendered routes stay protected ✅ No token leakage to JavaScript (XSS-safe) ✅ Smooth refresh-flow without exposing tokens ✅ Consistent auth behavior across API routes and pages ✅ Clear separation of access & refresh token logic Checkout complete implementation and code here: https://lnkd.in/dx_UDqaa

Distribution beyond my site 🧰 LLMs surface docs and code often. I seed canonical READMEs changelogs and docs where buyers search. I ensure those pages have clear titles summaries links and update dates so they are safe to cite. ✅ Action now: Publish a concise README or quickstart in a public repository or documentation hub with a one paragraph summary and a last updated line. 📍 Where could a concise README or how to guide live outside your marketing site? #Docs #GitHub #KnowledgeBase #LLMSEO #DeveloperRelations

When you’ve been given two lengthy Google Docs files to compare, don't strain your eyes (and drive yourself crazy) trying to spot the differences! Instead: - Open up one of the documents: - Go to the Tools menu - Select Compare documents - A box will open, allowing you to choose the document you want to compare with the open one - Select Compare, and a new document named "Comparison of [Document name] & [Document name]” will open with the changes highlighted This works for distinct documents, but if you want to see the changes to a single document over time (or restore it to an earlier version), you’ll want to use Version History. #GoogleDocs Image description for accessibility: Classic blue background. The words “Don't strain your eyes to spot the differences between files - use Compare documents” are over a graphic of a thinking, blonde-haired woman in a pale blue t-shirt in front of two documents with reciprocal arrows linking them.
