Sarah Haler’s Post

When you’ve been given two lengthy Google Docs files to compare, don't strain your eyes (and drive yourself crazy) trying to spot the differences! Instead: - Open up one of the documents: - Go to the Tools menu - Select Compare documents  - A box will open, allowing you to choose the document you want to compare with the open one - Select Compare, and a new document named "Comparison of [Document name] & [Document name]” will open with the changes highlighted This works for distinct documents, but if you want to see the changes to a single document over time (or restore it to an earlier version), you’ll want to use Version History. #GoogleDocs Image description for accessibility: Classic blue background.
