💡 This week in our Wednesday #Executive AI series, we ask: Does #AI Know What’s Next? Most leaders assume AI can predict or adapt to new information the moment it appears. But can it really? This #Wednesday, we’ll look at how AI responds when the world changes — and what that means for live data, #CITS, and #tolling systems that rely on real-time decisions. 👉 Swipe through the tiles and stay tuned for Wednesday’s full post. #AI #Leadership #Mobility #Tolling #CITS #Governance

Policies around AI should evolve to fit the needs of the moment. One organization matured its AI use case inventory not by doing significantly more AI, but because ongoing conversations created a culture around AI governance. Regardless of shifting priorities, it's key to avoid halting progress. A useful mantra: "Great is the enemy of good, and perfection is the enemy of progress." Striving for a perfect policy may be unrealistic; instead, focus on creating a policy that is effective today and adaptable for the future. #AIGovernance #PolicyDevelopment #Innovation #Leadership #ContinuousImprovement

💡 This week’s executive question: 👉 Can #AI Use All My Documents at Once? Many leaders assume that connecting an AI system to internal repositories means it can process everything simultaneously, instantly, and accurately. But can it really? This #Wednesday, we’ll explore how scale, cost, and compliance intersect when LLMs handle organizational knowledge, and why selectivity often matters more than volume in regulated domains like #tolling, #CITS, and #mobility. 👉 Swipe through the tiles and stay tuned for Wednesday’s full post. #AI #Leadership #Governance #Trust

Is it fair to question whether AI is getting too big, too soon? Sure is. And it’s certainly fair to wonder whether too much of the economy is tied up in its promise. But when 78% of global companies are already using AI in at least one business function, that’s not speculation. That’s structural. Sure, there’s noise. Sure, some bets won’t pay off. But the underlying shift is real - and it’s moving fast. I’m watching closely where partnerships are forming and how the mag 7 are positioning themselves, now and for tomorrow. For comms leaders, understanding the road ahead is the edge to breakthrough storytelling. #AI #CommsLeadership #DigitalStrategy #Innovation #AIinComms

Most companies say they’re using AI. Almost none actually are. In the last six weeks, I’ve worked with 14 organizations and not one had a real AI strategy. They had tools. They had licenses. But no destination. The problem? Leaders are using AI to do things, not to get somewhere. A few weeks ago, I helped a multibillion-dollar property group go from zero AI competency to a full AI-driven strategy in 40 minutes. How? We built High Definition Destinations... crystal-clear, measurable outcomes that gave AI a purpose. Because AI without a destination is just digital busywork. If you want the same six-step framework we used to build their strategy, drop “help me” in the comments, I’ll send you the exact prompts and process. #flawlessleadership #ai #futureofwork #afterburner #leadershipdevelopment #flawlessexecution #strategyexecution #destinationdriven #aileadership ---------------------------------- I’m Boo, former fighter pilot, leadership keynote speaker, and CEO of Afterburner. Ever sit in a strategy session and wonder if you’re steering the ship—or being steered by the speed of change? We talk about AI like it’s a silver bullet, but behind closed doors, most leaders admit it’s more complicated. Exciting, yes. But also exhausting. The pressure to keep pace can quietly erode confidence, even in seasoned teams. We’ve seen this firsthand: the leaders who thrive aren’t the ones who know everything about AI, but the ones who admit what they don’t—and start the conversation anyway. 📅 Curious about pragmatic AI strategies? Let's have that conversation: [https://lnkd.in/gmkb93qg) #BlueSeasAI #AIStrategy #DigitalTransformation #AustralianBusiness

🔹 Series: The Human Edge in the Age of AI | Post 2 – Don’t lose your voice in the noise of perfect ones. We used to recognize people by their words, their pauses, their tone, their style. Now, the more tools we use to sound polished, the more we begin to sound alike. AI helps us write better. But it can also make our voices interchangeable. Leadership isn’t about having the loudest or smoothest message. It’s about having a voice that still sounds like you. Because in a world of perfect replies, the rarest thing will be an honest one. #Leadership #AuthenticCommunication #AIandHumanity #ExecutivePresence #FutureOfWork #DigitalTransformation
