🚨 Microsoft 365 Update — SharePoint Add-Ins Are Retiring 🚨 Microsoft is retiring the SharePoint Add-In extensibility model in Microsoft 365, with full removal set for April 2, 2026 — that’s ~34 days left to prepare. 🔹 After this date, classic Add-Ins will no longer work for existing tenants. 🔹 The recommended path forward is migrating to SharePoint Framework (SPFx) or other modern extensibility options. If your organization still relies on classic SharePoint Add-Ins, now’s the time to audit, plan, and start your transition to ensure continuity. #Microsoft365 #SharePoint #SPFx #CloudMigration #DigitalWorkplace

I missed my post on SharePoint's 25 years, so as not to miss the fun - I remember installing WSS 3.0 (Windows SharePoint Server) and seeing the web UI and thinking wow - this is going to change how we work. Over that time, we witnessed so many changes and improvements - Performance Point was still one of my favs (Infopath a close 2nd). I won't miss the Farm upgrades... Today SharePoint is the pre-eminent platform for document management - along with an outstanding platform for intranets and knowledge. With Agents, fillable columns, power platform integration and more - SharePoint is your first-class platform to build the foundation of knowledge. Long Live SharePoint #SPO #SharePoint

🚨 SharePoint 2016 & 2019 reach end of support on July 14, 2026 — but the real challenges begin much sooner. Key components like classic workflows and add-ins will start failing well before the official deadline. This is not a simple lift-and-shift migration. 🔹 Classic workflows must be redesigned using Power Automate to work in modern environments 🔹 InfoPath and custom add-ins are already deprecated and require modern replacements 🔹 Delaying action increases the risk of unexpected outages, rushed decisions, and higher costs ⏳ Start planning early to ensure a smooth, controlled migration—before timelines tighten and options disappear. #SharePoint #SharePoint2016 #SharePoint2019 #PowerPlatform #PowerAutomate #DigitalTransformation #Microsoft365 #Migration
