𝗖𝗩𝟵𝟬𝟯𝟱𝗦𝗩𝗞 𝗠𝗸𝗜𝗩: 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗜𝗙𝗩 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀 + 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼 🎥 BAE Systems Hägglunds has showcased the CV9035SVK MkIV — the new Infantry Fighting Vehicle configuration for the Slovak Armed Forces. #ArmouredWarfare 📦 The order size is not marginal: Slovakia has 152 vehicles on contract, while the Czech Republic has 246 — 398 MkIV vehicles across both programmes. That is a serious fleet transformation, not a boutique upgrade. #EuropeanSecurity ⚙️ Why this matters beyond the platform: MkIV is as much about architecture as armour — digital backbone, growth margin, and “upgradeability under stress” rather than one-time modernisation. In a long war era, the vehicle that wins is the one you can continuously adapt. #DefenseIndustry 🧭 The delivery timeline needs precision: Slovak-configured vehicles have entered testing in Sweden, with first deliveries expected during 2026. Czech deliveries are also tied to a phased industrial plan (Sweden + Czech production share), with timelines often pointing into 2026 and beyond depending on variant and local assembly ramp-up. #Readiness 🛠️ The operational lesson Europe keeps relearning: Mechanised capability is not only the hull. It is training, spares, repair capacity, sensors, and sustained upgrade cycles — otherwise you own a fleet that exists on paper but not at the front. #Sustainment 𝘐𝘯 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘮𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘳, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 — 𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴.

US Army Drone Training & Simulation ⊲ U.S. Army ⊳ Using OneArc's VBS4 simulation software, Fort Benning's Maneuver Centre of Excellence has added a 10-hour virtual drone familiarisation course to its One-Station Unit Training programme. Modelled on the 75th Ranger Regiment’s Ranger Robotics Lethality Course, the simulation allows large numbers of soldiers to train at scale without the cost of live flights and is designed to take a Soldier from basic 'buttonology' to advanced tactical reconnaissance and kinetic strikes. The goal is to familiarise all soldiers with drone combat warfare whilst also identifying those with high proficiency for advancement to the formal sUAS Operators Course. ⊲ Image - U.S. Army photo by Joey Rhodes II ⊳ www.simulation.news https://lnkd.in/eEefPmt3
