Tracee Aliotti shared thisWhen I saw the Meta and Alphabet "addiction case" ruling a few weeks back, my first reaction was: finally—accountability. For years, we’ve placed the burden of social media safety almost entirely on parents and users. This feels like a shift toward shared responsibility with the platforms themselves. I’ll admit though — I didn’t always see it that way. Not all that long ago, I believed these platforms were just tools. I'd use a “hammer” analogy: it can build or break, all depends on how you decide to swing it. But parenting in the “screenager” era has changed my perspective. These aren’t neutral tools. They’re systems designed to influence behavior, which changes the game, especially one you don't even know you're playing. Yes, we need better policy and safeguards, but maybe even more important, we need education (for kids and adults alike). Digital citizenship. Media literacy. AI fluency. Because when we understand how these systems work, we make better decisions about how we use them and, in turn, how we equip our kids to use them. I’m hopeful this moment pushes us toward more transparency and real partnership between platforms and people and helps us all better understand what we're actually putting in our kids' hands. After all, there's a reason a Fisher-Price hammer is made of soft rubber. Appreciation for companies like BoodleBox supporting a more informed chapter through AI literacy and responsible human-AI collaboration.Tracee Aliotti shared thisYou've probably heard about this case. The The Lanier Law Firm just won the first social media addiction trial in U.S. history — a landmark verdict against Meta and YouTube for deliberately designing platforms that harmed children. The jury found both companies liable. It's being compared to the tobacco litigation of the 90s. I am so proud to share that our team at BoodleBox was part of this. We worked directly with the Lanier Law Firm, and BoodleBox was used as a collaborative AI tool throughout the trial preparation and litigation process. When one of the most consequential cases in tech history needed AI to help organize, analyze, and collaborate at scale — they chose to work with us. I can't overstate what this means to our team. We built BoodleBox to be the platform where humans and AI work together — transparently, collaboratively, and responsibly. Seeing it used in a case that holds the most powerful tech companies in the world accountable for how they designed their products is something I'll never forget. This is what human-AI collaboration looks like when it matters most. Not replacing the lawyers. Not replacing the judgment. Augmenting the people doing some of the most important work in the country right now. Link to the full story in the comments. Read it — it's worth your time. To the entire Lanier Law Firm team — it was an honor. We're just getting started. #BoodleBox #LanierLawFirm #SocialMediaAddiction #AIinLaw #HumanAICollaboration #LegalTech #Meta #YouTube #AILiteracy #CollaborativeAI #LandmarkCase #ChildSafety #ResponsibleAI #Trial #EdTech

Tracee Aliotti shared thisIt's so rewarding when a student can turn training into real-world results. 📈 I had the good fortune of meeting Nathan Burchiel during a CSM training we took together (shout out to our trainer Eric Tucker!). Learning about how Nathan has applied his new agile skills to lead complex work with such clarity has been a highlight. And exactly why he was such a great fit for our Agile Stories initiative at Scrum Alliance—a project we designed to put a face and narrative behind the impact of agility in real life. In his feature, Nathan shares: “Agile leadership isn't about having all the answers. It’s about building a system that allows the answers to surface through evidence and experimentation.” 🤌 It's been a pleasure to work alongside the brilliant Tess Martin, who's led the work to capture these narratives and bring the "Agile Stories" series to life. Check out Nathan's journey and see how you can apply agile skills yourself! https://lnkd.in/ewW__hPx #Agile #LeadershipGrowth #AgileStories #SuccessStories #BrandStorytellingTracee Aliotti shared thisI’m honored to share that Scrum Alliance recently featured me in an article about how becoming a Certified ScrumMaster helped strengthen my confidence in leading complex work. One of the biggest takeaways from my ScrumMaster journey has been learning how to move from overanalyzing decisions toward a more evidence-based approach to leadership. The certification helped me better structure complex, undefined work, use team data to drive continuous improvement, and create more clarity around how we plan and deliver as a team. It has been especially rewarding to see these changes make a visible impact, not just within my own team, but in broader conversations around process improvement as well. Grateful to Scrum Alliance for the opportunity to share part of my story. https://lnkd.in/ewW__hPxLeading complex work: Nathan’s data-driven Certified ScrumMaster storyLeading complex work: Nathan’s data-driven Certified ScrumMaster story

Tracee Aliotti shared thisOver my career, I’ve been told more than once, “you’re nicer than I expected.” I’ve also been asked why I’m kind to people who aren’t always kind back. But I don’t think of it as “nice.” I think of it as intentional. Because in every interaction, there’s a choice: What do I want to build here? Nice now is really more about what you want next. A stronger relationship? A better outcome? An ally or an enemy? It can feel like giving more than you get, but I promise, the getting won’t pass you by. You don’t control how others show up. But you do control what you put into the world. And over time—that shows up. In trust. In reputation. In leaving people better than you found them (or they found you). I say this to my kids all the time: you get what you give. Not instantly. But inevitably. I think that sounds pretty nice. 😊

Tracee Aliotti shared thisI don’t know who needs to hear this, but here goes — you can change your mind. And, if you have new information that warrants it, don’t wait! No matter how loudly, persisistently, or publicly you’ve shared your opinion, it’s YOURS to change. It can be hard or even feel like a failure, but learning enough to shift your position is wisdom, not weakness. I had a conversation this week that encouraged me to share. Happy learning. Happy changing. Enjoy the view. ⛰️

Tracee Aliotti shared thisIf AI is the house every organization is racing to build, agility is the foundation that ensures it’s built to last. Technology is only as powerful as the teams operating it. You can have the most advanced AI tools in the world, but if your workforce isn’t equipped to adapt, pivot, and collaborate in complex environments, that "house" won't stand the test of time. Scrum Alliance is working with enterprises to build custom workforce capabilities that move beyond "doing" agile to being agile, resulting in teams that don't just survive in change, but thrive because of it. Tracee Aliotti shared thisEven as a Scrum Alliance team member, being immersed in scrum every day doesn’t mean you stop learning it. I recently (okay — it was December, but I've delayed sharing cause I wanted time to fully sleuth the badge acceptance UX — marketers, IYKYK!) . . . stepped away from the "business" of agility to earn my Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and while I expected to check a box, I walked away with so much more. What didn’t at all surprise me: -- World-class instruction: Eric Tucker is crazy good. He was engaging, insightful, and — dare I say — genuinely entertaining. -- Phenomenal fellow classmates: I was surrounded by a bright, talented, and fun group of professionals. I didn’t just gain colleagues; I gained a cohort of friends I’m genuinely excited to cheer on. You know who you are! -- The practicality: The curriculum isn't just theory; it’s a toolkit. The lessons were immediately applicable to any role, regardless of industry. What did actually surprise me: -- The "Time Warp": I was shocked at how quickly two days flew by. By the time the final minutes wound down, I felt a genuine sense of sadness that it was over. -- Scrum got a glow up: Even when you live and breathe scrum, the shine of it can get murky over time. This course stripped away the noise and polished up the basics I’d let grow dull (without even realizing it). -- Newfound empathy: This was the most profound for me. It forced me to look in the mirror and recognize my own "anti-scrum" habits. It built a new level of empathy for my team and a clearer understanding of how my actions—however well-intentioned—can impact their flow. At Scrum Alliance, we talk constantly about the power of agile skills and awareness. This course personally reminded me why we do what we do. My advice? Go get your CSM. 😉 #ScrumAlliance #AgileLeadership #CSM #ContinuousLearning #ScrumMaster #AgileMarketerI recently earned a new certificate from Scrum Alliance (https://www.scrumalliance.org/). Tracee Aliotti liked thisTracee Aliotti liked thisA colleague in her late 40s once told me she had started shaving years off her resume. She didn't do this in a vain way. It was more a matter of survival she said. She had watched too many peers get filtered out for being "overqualified" — which everyone in the room knew was code for something else. Experienced professionals may find themselves worried about similar age-related discrimination. But the data is actually promising. Workers 65 and older are the fastest-growing segment of the US labor force. They aren't quietly retiring. They are pivoting, consulting, starting companies, joining boards. Which tells me the problem is not the experience. The problem is the positioning. Share this with someone over 40 who thinks they're 'too old' to change careers.

Tracee Aliotti liked thisThis! #futurework #aiTracee Aliotti liked thisOne thing my leadership team has talked about lately is making sure we don't accidentally drift into "analysis paralysis" with AI. I came across this image again yesterday and honestly I think it captures something very real happening right now in a lot of organizations. Before AI, execution was usually the bottleneck. Lots of people had ideas, fewer people had the resources, technical ability, time, or operational support to actually bring them to life. Now it almost feels inverted. AI dramatically lowers the cost of execution. One person can prototype something in a weekend that used to require a full team, budget approvals, and three months of coordination. Decks get generated faster. Research gets synthesized faster. Code gets written faster. Workflows get automated faster. The barrier between idea and action keeps collapsing. But I also think there's a weird second-order effect happening where the sheer amount of possibility starts overwhelming people. Everyone has ideas now. Everyone sees opportunities now. Every meeting turns into ten more things we could build, automate, redesign, or test. At some point the constraint shifts from execution capacity to clarity and prioritization. And honestly I catch myself feeling this too sometimes. You open Claude or ChatGPT and suddenly the answer to almost everything feels like "technically yes." Yes we could build that. Yes we could automate that. Yes we could redesign that workflow. Yes we could spin up an agent for that. But that doesn't mean every idea is good. I think one of the most underrated skills over the next few years is going to be knowing what not to build. Not because AI isn't powerful, but because it is. The companies that win probably won't be the ones chasing every possible AI initiative. They'll be the ones disciplined enough to focus on the few things that actually matter and execute aggressively against them. #HatchWorks #AI #AILeadership #Innovation #FutureOfWork #AIStrategy

And you don't have to figure this out alone.* The AiM Higher Conference is built around these exact five scenarios—not as abstract panels, but as the problems you'll actively work on for three days with peers walking the same road. ✅Day 1: Map your problem. ✅Day 2: Build and refine your proof of concept. ✅Day 3: Present your proof of concept. Tracee Aliotti reacted on thisTracee Aliotti reacted on thisStill trying to process this one. At this year’s Global Scrum Gathering in Vancouver, I received the Volunteer of the Year award from Scrum Alliance. And honestly, it means a lot. Not only because of the work behind the Global and Regional Scrum Gatherings, but because it represents years of trying to contribute to this community in every way I can — creating spaces, supporting people, sharing ideas, helping communities grow, and showing up with care. What makes this especially meaningful to me is that none of it was ever about recognition. It was always about people. About helping others feel welcomed, connected, and represented in this space. As someone from Central America, receiving this recognition also feels bigger than just me. It feels like proof that our communities, voices, and contributions matter too. Deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. You’ve shaped my life more than you probably know. Still emotional. Still inspired. And definitely not done yet. #GlobalScrumGathering #GSGVAN26 #ScrumAlliance #VolunteerOfTheYear

"Do more with less" is the AI mandate every CMO is hearing right now. Too many are focusing all of their attention on the "with less" half. - Cut production costs. - Reduce headcount. - Automate the repetitive work. - Speed up the calendar. The marketing leaders building real competitive advantages are prioritizing the other half. Nike is testing go-to-market strategies using synthetic consumer personas before a single dollar is spent on research. Jo Malone London launched an AI advisor that replicated their in-store fragrance consultation experience online, something that was structurally impossible twelve months ago. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts built an entirely new distribution channel, inside Google AI Mode and Anthropic's Claude, for less than $100,000. None of these are efficiency stories, at least not primarily. They're stories about what becomes possible when marketing organizations stop asking "how do we what we've been doing, but faster?" and start asking "what can we do now that we couldn't before?" We wrote about the distinction, and why it matters for how consumer brand CMOs are making the case to their boards right now. 👇 link in comments

AI isn’t your growth strategy. Discipline is. Everyone in manufacturing marketing is chasing AI like it’s a silver bullet for scale. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: Most teams don’t have a scale problem, they have a strategy and execution problem. This blog breaks it down. AI can absolutely accelerate output. But without clear positioning, strong messaging, and disciplined execution, all you’re doing is scaling noise. And in manufacturing, noise doesn’t convert. Precision does. If your inputs are weak, AI just helps you fail faster. Our take: The winners won’t be the teams using the most AI. They’ll be the ones using it with intention, grounded in strategy, guided by data, and ruthlessly focused on ROI. If you’re serious about growth, stop asking “how do we use more AI?” Start asking “what actually drives results in our market?” Read the full breakdown here: https://lnkd.in/gwMD_h5j

"Creative" marketing is a boardroom liability. Investors don't fund voodoo tactics and guesswork... The best CMOs don't act like artists, they operate like GTM engineers. I used to sit in board meetings trying to justify my budget with fluffy brand metrics. It felt hollow and the CFO tuned out. But everything changed when I stopped defending creative spend and started engineering predictable revenue. When you do that, the board listens. Not because your ads are pretty, but because your marketing acts as a mathematically proven growth engine. Here are the steps to build that exact growth architecture: 1. Pull The Pricing Lever Stop obsessing over volume and fix your pricing power. → Don't build first, price later. → Test willingness to pay upfront. → Guard against margin erosion. 2. Kill "Marketing Mary" Personas Demographic fluff is statistically insignificant noise in B2B. → Use concrete customer profiling. → Extract real-time buying signals. → Build proprietary, off-market lists. 3. Capitalize On The 95:5 Rule Only 5% of your market is actively buying today. → Stop fighting in red oceans. → Target the "window of dissatisfaction". → Catch buyers before RFPs happen. 4. Deliver Permissionless Value Gated eBooks are depreciating assets that prospects ignore. → Do the heavy lifting upfront. → Diagnose their exact problem freely. → Prove competence, skip the pitch. 5. Most teams are using AI to produce more. More posts. More emails. More noise. David J Ebner 🥸 sees it differently. AI isn’t a volume machine. It’s a time machine. In this clip from Episode 166 of the NTM Growth Marketing Podcast, David explains why AI should create space. Space to think strategically, maintain (or raise) quality, and make better decisions. If you deploy AI without a strategy, it takes over everything. If you deploy it intentionally, it gives you leverage. The brands that win long term won’t be the ones producing the most. They’ll be the ones thinking the best. #AIinMarketing #MarketingStrategy #ContentStrategy #GrowthMarketing #MarketingLeadership #DigitalTransformation #BrandBuilding

Shut down the AI noise. When it comes to content, the fundamentals still win. Good products matter...but they only go as far as the story you tell about them. The smartest teams are using content marketing tools to: ⚡Turn complexity into clarity ⚡Scale high-quality content ⚡Prove real business impact Remember: tools are amplifiers, not replacements for strategy. The winners are the ones who combine smart tech with sharp thinking 🧠💡 https://lnkd.in/gCzcwiue #fintech #contentmarketing #tools
