Russell Jay shared thisSTORD We can help...Russell Jay shared thisMaceoo's founder used to fly to his fulfillment center to pick and pack orders himself. Not because he wanted to, but because he had to. It was the only way to make sure his shirts arrived looking like the premium product they are. Mehdi Raad built something genuinely rare: a unique consumer experience embedded into the very fibers of an apparel brand. His luxury menswear brand uses a mathematically-engineered algorithm to perfectly fit clothes for every body type. His Las Vegas flagship includes a barbershop, an ice cream shop, a VIP room, and custom jacket paintings. He has earned an envious roster of clientele that includes Dana White and the UFC. This experience is now embedded into stores across 15 states. That level of brand obsession doesn't stop at the physical store. Raad's standard was clear: the unboxing and fulfillment had to feel the same. The problem was his previous fulfillment setup was not equipped for that kind of demand. Inventory perpetually out of sync with NetSuite. Manual audits just to confirm basic order accuracy. And a delivery experience, a generic brown box, that had nothing to do with the world he'd spent years building. Stord brought the specialized capability Maceoo needed: boutique-quality folding, branded packaging, alongside a native NetSuite integration that finally made inventory data live and reliable across every channel. And we are exploring other ways we can continue to up the experience on every order, every time. Raad put it simply: "The integration was the biggest thing for me. Having everything in one place, where the inventory is live and you don't have to worry about the sync, changed everything." The founder who used to fly out to pack boxes himself now has the headspace to focus on building one of the most distinctive luxury brands in the country. That's what the right operations partner actually does.

Russell Jay reposted thisRussell Jay reposted this2,000+ employees worldwide, but Stord still feels small in the right ways. I just wrapped my first week of my new job. While I’m a remote employee, I had the unique opportunity to start in-person at our HQ in Atlanta for a fulfillment center tour and a Product team onsite. (Thanks for the invite, Craig Stewart!) In a world of automated onboarding, these human moments stood out: - The President, Steve Swan, walking up to my desk just to introduce himself unsolicited. - Our CTO and Co-founder, Jacob Boudreau, jumping on Slack to personally coordinate schedules. - A VP, Brad Obert, reaching out to connect on LinkedIn before I’d even sent my first email. - My hiring manager, Alicia Hale, making sure I actually had a desk and lunch on Day 1. - My tour guide, Sydni Brown, waving and greeting warehouse employees with enthusiasm and a smile. - The Office Operations manager, Ash B., graciously answering all of my random questions. Coming back to a fast-paced environment after some time away from an office setting, these small interactions genuinely mean the world. I haven't even started "performing" or "delivering" yet, but the team has already made me feel seen, known, and valued. Cheers to a great first week on this new adventure! 🚀 (Even if the team did have to witness my questionable bowling skills at the outing...🎳) #Stord #CompanyCulture #ProductMarketing #NewBeginnings #SupplyChain #RemoteWork

The update introduces three connected assistants: Chat (conversational ops copilot), Search (context-aware discovery across orders, data, and insights), and Feed (a personalized stream that surfaces risks and opportunities early), all accessible through a single conversational interface across the commerce stack. https://lnkd.in/eAUQn-A #StordAI #EcommerceOps #SupplyChainAI

Russell Jay reposted thisRussell Jay reposted thisModern commerce operators spend their days navigating complexity. 1 SKU can easily turn into 100 variations online. Multiply that by thousands of data points from marketing, sales, customer interactions, and fulfillment - and suddenly you’re dealing with millions of data points moving through a brand’s systems every single day. And in the middle of it all is a constant stream of questions that need answers now. For years, getting those answers meant digging through dashboards, exporting reports, and pulling data from half a dozen systems just to figure out what to do next. A huge portion of an operator’s day wasn’t decision-making, it was gathering information. That’s why we built StordAI with three new intelligent assistants: Chat, Search, and Feed. Chat is a conversational assistant that allows you to ask anything about your business and get instant, data-backed answers. It’s available in beta today and free for all Stord customers. Search is a context-aware discovery engine for any order, any data, any insight. Feed is a personalised intelligence stream that proactively surfaces critical information about your business from one unified view. Both are coming in Q2. Together, they turn enormous volumes of data into something far more useful: 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Instead of collating data, building reports, or waiting for an analyst to investigate questions like “𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥?” or “𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺?” - which can take hours or even days - with StordAI, you simply ask. And you get answers in seconds. That time difference matters. When e-commerce moves at the pace it does today, a delayed decision or missed signal can translate into thousands of lost revenue, missed delivery promises, and poor customer experiences. We are effectively eliminating those with StordAI. This is only the beginning of what the future of commerce will look like with Stord. Learn more here: https://www.stord.com/ai

We’ve done a lot since then. Real wins. Real growth. A People function that has scaled alongside a company that moves fast and isn’t slowing down. But we’re not done — and this next chapter is where it gets exciting. I’m hiring a Head of HR, Fulfillment to own the people strategy across our fulfillment network. This is a senior, strategic seat — a true partner to our operations leadership. I am looking for someone who has been here before: high-volume, multi-site, fast-moving. Ocado Intelligent Automation

“The Game Has Changed. Has Your Warehouse?” Labor is scarce. Orders are surging. Automation isn’t a “nice to have,” it’s a necessity. The rules of fulfillment have changed—and legacy warehouse operations are struggling to keep up. In today’s fulfillment landscape, logistics leaders face challenges that didn’t exist even five years ago: 📉 Unpredictable labor availability is disrupting planning and coverage 📦 Order profiles are shifting—fewer full pallets, more discrete picks 📈 Customer expectations are accelerating—next-day is no longer a premium; it's the default Relying on labor alone to scale your operation is no longer sustainable, and reliance on outdated automation that only addresses part of the problem opens the door to new bottlenecks as fast as it removes old ones. That’s where the Ocado Mobile Robot System (OMRS) comes in. It’s not just another robot—it's a flexible, orchestrated platform that adapts with your operation: 🔹 Chuck AMRs handle high-speed, system-directed each picking—increasing productivity by 2x over traditional cart-picking solutions, cutting training time by up to 90%, and maximizing pick accuracy 🔹 Porter AMRs take over case picking ground-level pallet and cage moves—increasing productivity by 50% to 300% while eliminating forklift bottlenecks and safely transporting 3,300 lbs/1,500 kgs per trip 🔹Ocado’s Fulfillment Execution Software (FES) is the brain of the system—coordinating tasks across devices, balancing workloads in real time, and dynamically adjusting to demand spikes or labor shortages The result? A fulfillment operation that performs reliably under pressure, flexes with demand, and positions you to meet growth without compromise. If you're interested in learning more about OMRS visit 👉 https://lnkd.in/eYzgkuPX #WarehouseResilience #AutomationStrategy #OMRS #OcadoIntelligentAutomation #ScalableFulfillment

New Case Study: Appliance Parts Distributors + DispatchTrack We’re excited to share how Brandon DeFazio and APD has transformed its delivery operations with DispatchTrack. With multiple warehouses, hundreds of daily routes, and thousands of deliveries each week, APD needed a platform that could handle serious complexity while making life easier for drivers, dispatchers, and customers alike. With legacy tools, the APD team spent hours manually routing drivers each day. But with DispatchTrack, routes are generated instantly—freeing up time and unlocking new opportunities to drive value across the operation, including: ✅ A 90% reduction in customer call volume ✅ A 50% increase in route stop density (from 10 to 15 stops per truck) ✅ Improved on-time performance across the board ✅ Streamlined delivery verification through mobile photos and digital signatures As Brandon puts it: "We fell in love with DispatchTrack because it just worked. It was easy to set up, simple to use, and it took the complexity out of routing. And every year, the platform just gets better." 👏 Thank you to the APD team for partnering with us on this journey. 📖 Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/gmG8p9M5

Drayage shouldn't be a black box. But for some BCOs and freight forwarders, it is. Our CTO Jake Hoffman explains the problem: it's hard to know when containers are available at ports and rail ramps, harder to coordinate pickup and delivery, and nearly impossible to control detention costs when you're working blind. We had an advantage going in. Gnosis already had the best container tracking data in the market. We built drayage workflows around it, in partnership with large BCOs and drayage providers who told us exactly what wasn't working. With CLM's Drayage Management suite, our customers cut destination management costs, reduce manual coordination hours, and turned drayage into a controlled, data-driven process. Jake covers it all in under <2 minutes. #unboxingCLM #DrayageManagement

📦 Your pickers aren’t just picking. They’re walking. A lot. In most high-volume warehouses, over 50% of labor time in case picking is wasted on travel. That’s thousands of hours lost to unproductive motion every year. Here’s the catch: most automation strategies don’t address it. They focus on picking tools—not the path between them. 💡 With CaseFlow™, robotic pallet jacks handle the travel while workers pick in in dynamic, high-efficiency zones—guided by wearables and optimized in real time. That means: More picks per shift Less fatigue Faster ramp-up for new hires 👉 Want to reclaim those hours?
