Every EHR vendor is demoing an AI scribe right now. It is a good feature. It is also the easy one. Here is what nobody demos: what happens to the encounter after the note is written. Whether the coding gets validated. Whether the claim gets scrubbed before it leaves the building. Whether anything tells the biller this claim is going to get denied while there is still time to fix it. Whether the appeal gets drafted or typed from scratch.
