Nipun Joshi reposted thisNipun Joshi reposted thisNew York City 🗽⚽ What better place to celebrate the FIFA World Cup Final than at The Edge in New York City? It was a great evening connecting with our partners at Fareportal, Nipun Joshi & Mike Jolley, celebrating the world’s biggest sporting event, and sharing our passion for travel. Moments like these are a reminder of how sports and travel bring people together. #AmericanAirlines #Fareportal #FIFAWorldCup #NYC #TravelIndustry #Partnerships

Nipun Joshi shared thisGreat to be part of Air Serbia’s very special milestone celebration in New York last week, with CEO Jiří Marek, George Petkovic, ambassador Dragan Šutanovac, other dignitaries and our own Juliana Hofmann, Eric Zambrana and Mark Neirick. Proud of Fareportal’s strong, long standing partnership and our contribution towards this milestone. Here’s to many more such successes in the years ahead!

Nipun Joshi shared thisLet’s see who can find me in this selfie with Bret Taylor, Chairman of the Board at OpenAI, and David Rosenthal and Ben Gilbert, the brilliant hosts of Acquired, easily my favorite podcast! 😀 An outstanding discussion on AI’s impact on businesses, jobs, human capital, software, leadership, decision making, what would replace iPhones and more! The most memorable takeaway came from the closing question: “What’s one belief that’s changed for him over the last decade? “ Paraphrasing his response, Bret reflected that he once viewed leadership as projecting your own identity and way of thinking onto your team. He now thinks that effective leadership is often the opposite, the more you let go of your own identity and create space for others to bring theirs, the better leader you become. As AI continues to reshape industries, it was a good reminder that some of the most enduring lessons aren’t about technology at all, they’re about people. #Fareportal #SierraAI #OpenAI #AcquiredPodcastNipun Joshi shared thisThank you to the 1000+ folks who joined Ben, David, and me to discuss AI and Sierra in NYC. Nipun Joshi reposted thisNipun Joshi reposted thisAs part of our monthly office social series, our New York team recently came together for a gathering inspired by the cultures and cuisines of Spain and South America. The event featured a variety of authentic dishes, including Spanish tortillas prepared by our own Senior Content Writer, Javier Peinado Sanchez. It was a great opportunity to share traditions, learn from one another, and spend time together outside of our day-to-day work. We also took time to celebrate colleagues marking work anniversaries, including Carolina Serrano, Senior Vice President of Supplier Relations, who recently celebrated an incredible 20 years with Fareportal. Congratulations to Carolina and all team members celebrating anniversaries, and thank you for your contributions over the years.

Nipun Joshi shared thisTourism growth is increasingly an ecosystem effort, bringing together governments, airlines, airports, hotels, attractions, payment networks, financial institutions, technology providers, event organizers, destination marketing organizations, travel platforms and more. Following a recent discussion with Egypt's Minister of Tourism, it was a privilege to attend an event as a guest of the Consulate General of Egypt in New York and Egypt Air, and hear from Zahi Hawass, one of the most influential Egyptologist and ambassador of Egypt's cultural heritage, on the power of history to inspire travel, exploration, and discovery! It was good to hear acknowledgement of what Fareportal Enterprise Solutions is championing, helping organizations make travel a natural extension of the value they offer and customer experiences they already provide. #TravelTech #EnterpriseSolutions #TravelInnovation #TravelEcosystem #Fareportal

Nipun Joshi reposted thisNipun Joshi reposted thisOn April 22, we hosted our first annual 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 in New York City, bringing together our partners to explore what’s next in travel technology, distribution, and collaboration. Throughout the evening, our leadership team—Founder & Executive Chairman Sam S. Jain, CEO & President Amit Singh, Chief AI and Technology Officer Naveen Gunti, Chief Supply & Revenue Officer Yuvraj Datta, and VP of Branding & Head of User Interface Amandine Aman, along with Board members Chairman & Secretary Brian Hand and Vice Chairman Werner-Georg Kunz-Cho—shared perspectives on Fareportal’s next chapter, highlighting how we’re evolving our platform and expanding our white-label and enterprise solutions to help partners grow at scale. At the center of the conversation was a clear belief: The future of travel is already boarding—powered by AI and guided by people. Key themes included: • The expansion of 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, delivering scalable white‑label infrastructure across supply, payments, servicing, and operations • AI‑driven capabilities that connect traveler intent to supply through real‑time data and intelligent automation •Data‑led strategies designed to drive precision, localization, and measurable performance We emphasized that the organizations that truly succeed with AI are not the ones that simply showcase it in demos—but those that drive adoption at every level, embedding AI into everyday workflows to support smarter decisions, better experiences, and scalable growth. We also showcased how these strategies come to life across our platforms, including the introduction of Oli™, our AI‑powered travel assistant, and the relaunch of ClubMiles, our rewards program designed to deliver clearer value and deeper engagement. A highlight of the evening was a partner panel featuring leaders from Amadeus, Sabre, Lufthansa Group, and Turkish Airlines, who shared perspectives on the future of NDC, One Order, and AI—and how modern airline retailing, unified order management, and intelligent technology will continue to reshape distribution, personalization, and the traveler experience. While we recognize we’re still just scratching the surface of what’s possible, our north star is clear: to use AI to connect intent with supply—personalized, at scale—while keeping people at the center of the journey. Thank you to our partners and team for making our first Fareportal Connect such a success. We’re excited to continue building what’s next—together. #FareportalConnect #TravelTechnology #AI #HumanFirst #AirlineRetailing #NDC #FareportalEnterpriseSolutions #TravelInnovation

Nipun Joshi liked thisNipun Joshi liked thisAirlines, loyalty programs, agencies, even an OTA I helped run: travel companies eventually ask the same question. How do we get closer to our customers? The obvious answer I've come around to after a lot of years: we're closest to the customer when they shop and book, and miles away during the part they actually care about, the trip itself. Look at where the money goes. Tours, activities, and attractions add up to a $271 billion market in 2025, growing faster than any other part of travel (Arival/Phocuswright). And only a third of that is booked online so far. Most are booked individually near or during their trip. In plain terms: Engagement in the trip itself is the biggest opportunity in travel. In-destination spend is where the trip's memories get made. It's also where our industry, for the most part, isn't. For as long as I've been in this business, the model has been: find the customer, improve shop (speed, depth, quality) to earn the booking, deliver it well, and then work to get their next booking. I believe the next era belongs to the companies who travelers talk about making their "trip" GREAT. Advocacy comes from smiles!

My first cricket memory is watching Sachin play a hook shot for six in the crucial knock-out match against Shoaib in the world cup. From then on I was hooked. Today we got to announce our partnership with the Little Master, and share a little about how he uses OpenAI. 7 year old Abhi would be thrilled 🤯 The journey of democratizing access to AI, means partnering with people who can help communicate this message in a trusted way to the masses. Earlier this year we announced our partnership with Messi, and now are following up with another legend. How to deconstruct a product message ( home or product page) in under 5 min in an product marketing interview. A critical skill..aspiring PMM acquire over time through observation, testing and analysis But you can still deconstruct a message quickly by a simple teardown: 👉 The 4-part pass ✅ Step 1: Pick the line and literally talk through it: Who: Does this line name a specific audience? ( or not?) Claim (promise / JTBD): What job is it helping you do, or what promise is it making? ✅. Step 2: Say it back in a simple sentence: The promise is: a way to learn a language that is free, fun, and effective. ✅. Step 3: Proof: Is there any built-in proof—numbers, qualifiers, named users, or anything that makes the claim feel earned? If none: just say, “There’s no proof in this line, it’s pure claim.” ✅. Step 4: Bonus: Why am I unique Is there any word or phrase that hints at why this is different?” E.g. “free, fun, effective” as a combo, or “unique data” + “ability to act on it”. That’s the teardown. You’ve stayed inside the sentence and just labeled what is there / missing. When is specificity not critical? When the job itself defines the segment & does the targeting specially 👉 Example, Duolingo: The free, fun, and effective way to learn a language!” "Learn a language” already filters to people who care about learning a language. While the “who” stay broad in the main line, the rest of the page gets specific. “Here, the who isn’t explicit, but the job (‘learn a language’, ‘go to market’) already self-selects the user ( some one looking to learn a new language)

Product Management is going to be more of a creative endeavor. We'll value less of prioritization based on constraints, where you're spinning your wheels figuring out "((Impact/Cost) * Confidence)" We'll value instincts, UX intuition, and novel solutions instead.

***The connection b/w Pareto Frontier and Product Management*** Pigeonholing yourself as a design focused PM or an analytics focused PM and not trying to build skills in other areas doesn't help***. In a multidisciplinary field like product management, you should endeavor to build your knowledge across diverse fields such as design, user research, data skills, business and number sense, tech skills etc. Yes you may be over-indexed in certain areas depending on your unique strengths and that's fine. Building a skill set in diverse areas allows you to take a stab at a wider set of opportunities thus giving more chances of success. To show case this graphically, I would like to introduce the audience to this concept called ***Pareto frontier***. What Pareto frontier show cases is that there are multiple optimal points as you bring in more dimensionality. For example in the graph below, the entire curve indicated by the green line indicates pareto frontier. ***Each dot represents a possible solution (trade-off between two objectives, like cost vs accuracy). The green curve shows the Pareto frontier: the set of solutions that are non-dominated. That means, moving along this frontier, you can only improve one objective by sacrificing the other. Points inside the frontier are suboptimal, because there’s always another solution that’s strictly better in both dimensions.**** This graph also tells you that there are multiple optimal points as dimensionality kicks in, if you think of the axes as different skills in your set you can choose to play at any of these optimal points, you could have avg tech understanding but you can be a great business focused and design focused PM, on the other hand you can be a great data and business focused PM but may be relatively more avg in design. Ultimately the idea is to find your own pareto optimal point and increasing the dimensionality allows you to play in a larger set of optimal choices. My Playbook - https://lnkd.in/gHzyN-Xc Follow me https://lnkd.in/gHweK_q7 AND https://lnkd.in/ggUKftFq As a PM, to learn more about tech or business or design go through this playlist - https://lnkd.in/gCGaCN3C
