Scott Fannin shared thisVery proud to be a part of building life-changing products!Scott Fannin shared this“You’ve made dreams come true for a lot of people with your products.” Thank you to Liz Claman for having Resmed CEO and Chairman, Michael "Mick" Farrell, on The Claman Countdown earlier this week on Fox Business Network. From AI-driven care to GLP-1 therapies, the conversation focused on how major shifts in healthcare are reshaping the way sleep apnea is identified and treated. Mick shared how we’re using AI to create more personalized sleep experiences, including through innovations like Smart Comfort and DAWN. At the same time, Mick highlighted how GLP-1 therapies are serving as a tailwind for our business by helping accelerate the path for more patients to engage with the healthcare system. Among the 2.1+ million patients we are looking at who use both GLP-1s and our CPAP therapy, data suggests these therapies are helping support sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment engagement. Scott Fannin liked thisScott Fannin liked thisLast week, while flying home from vacation, I felt a tap on my shoulder from across the aisle. A gentleman had noticed that both my son and I were wearing Resmed eye masks. What started as a quick comment turned into one of those conversations I'll remember for a long time. He shared that one of our products had changed his life years ago. Now, he and his wife were on their way to Scotland to celebrate something incredibly special: his first vacation since his cancer diagnosis and remission. As we chatted, they showed me photos from trips they had taken throughout the years, and I shared photos from the vacation we were returning home from. As it turns out, they had visited almost every U.S. state, except Oregon... the very place we had just spent our vacation. For a brief moment, we were simply exchanging stories as fellow travelers. But as the conversation continued, I was reminded of something bigger. It's easy to get caught up in meetings, projects, hiring plans, and deadlines. Yet behind every product is a person. A family. A story. Moments like this make me incredibly proud to be a Resmedian. No matter where I travel or who I meet, I continue to hear stories from people who trust our products and appreciate the role they've played in improving their lives. That kind of impact never gets old. As someone in Talent Acquisition, moments like these also remind me of the impact behind my work. Every role we fill contributes to the products, experiences, and innovations that help improve people's lives. Behind every device, feature, and solution is a team of talented individuals making that impact possible. Whether you're in engineering, product management, product marketing, design, data, or another area of tech, your work has the potential to make a meaningful difference in someone's journey. If you're interested in being part of that mission, take a look at a few of my current openings below. And if now isn't the right time, feel free to stay connected and keep an eye on future opportunities. ➡️ JR_052064 Senior Software Quality Engineer ➡️ JR_053626 Senior Global Product Marketing Manager, Consumer Digital - Growth ➡️ JR_047505 Senior Technical Program Manager, Developer Experience ➡️ JR_048777 Business Systems Analyst (Supply Chain) https://lnkd.in/gfxV7VFq ❗Photo taken at the start of our trip to Oregon. My son and I are sporting our Resmed eye masks, while my husband, sitting on the other side of me, is making do with a hat over his eyes. Clearly, someone needs his own mask for our next adventure. 💤😅

Scott Fannin liked thisSuper excited that Resmed is now collaborating with champion driver Tyler Reddick, 23XI Racing and NASCAR to help people find their path to better sleep. Great to see Tyler use his platform to help more people recognize signs of sleep apnea and to get the help they need. Tyler’s story is a great example of how sleep can enable you perform at your absolute best, no matter who you are!Scott Fannin liked thisNever underestimate a sleeper. Today, Resmed is teaming up with Tyler Reddick and 23XI Racing to prove it. Tyler was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) after living for years with symptoms like loud snoring, morning headaches and low energy. He didn't think OSA could affect someone like him. After starting CPAP therapy in early 2026, Tyler noticed a difference after his very first night. His experience highlights the important role quality sleep can play in performance. Tyler’s story challenges the assumption that sleep apnea only affects certain people. It can affect anyone, and it does. Nearly 1 billion people globally are living with OSA*, yet more than 80% of cases go undiagnosed and untreated.** That's why this collaboration matters. By sharing his experience, Tyler hopes to help more people recognize the signs of sleep apnea, stop dismissing poor sleep as normal and seek care sooner. Scott Fannin liked thisScott Fannin liked thisI did it. I'm on sleep apnea therapy. I'm on a #CPAP. Not because I work at Resmed. Not because my doctor led me down the path. But because I've heard evidence from my father. Because I heard life-changing evidence from friends of friends. Because my wife's sleep health is important too. I'm 10 days in. I've been holding off on making determinations of results, because I am jaded to others positive experiences. It's actually a pleasure. I look forward to it. I have all the air I ever need, I never realized how much I was lacking before. I make no noises. The machine makes no noises. I worked with my human sleep coach and Dawn AI chat bot in #myAir to diagnose and resolve mask moisture that caused a seal leak that sounded like a pesky mosquito buzzing around my ear that I couldn't seem to swat. I have not once noticed the hose. It just moves with me and is always in the right place. Side sleeping does not affect my full face mask. I adjusted the tube temperature to the exact temperature I want in a breath—it's an ample, refreshing breath. I have a quicker ramp up to feeling truly awake and a new alertness level throughout the day. Talk to your friends, neighbors, coworkers to hear the positive impact. Take control yourself. Now, it took 90 days to get to my first night on a CPAP, but we're working on that at Resmed. The process needs to be streamlined—less steps or quicker intervals. I wish this relief came sooner once I made the conscious decision to become aware and take action. So I took the steps myself. I couldn't rely on my primary care doctor to encourage me, even though we talked about it. That's something else we're trying to fix. By the way, the #Resmed #AirSense 11 is stout, sturdy, and looks great on my nightstand. One button On and Off. Even better: auto On at my first breath, monitors and records breathing struggle events and mask issues, viewable right in the myAir app in a matter of seconds after I wake up, auto adjusts to the pressure it knows I need, and through myAir allows me to view my sleep data from my ŌURA ring and to adjust settings to make the experience more comfortable and personalized to what I think feels good. Reach out to me if you need evidence. This post was not made with AI. All original thought on my #OSA therapy journey. I can also be long winded sometimes and the em-dashes are all mine.

Scott Fannin liked thisScott Fannin liked thisYou've probably seen it too, especially recently in the airline industry... There’s a subtle shift that happens in some companies. At first, they earn loyalty. They listen. They overdeliver. Customers become true believers — not because they have to, but because they want to. Then growth accelerates. Margins matter more. “Efficiency” takes center stage. Policies replace judgment. Customers don’t always leave. They’re integrated. Invested. Locked in. So they stay. But they stop promoting; stop engaging. They go from advocates to quiet prisoners — still paying, no longer cheering. That’s the most dangerous customer state of all. Churn shows up on a dashboard. Silence doesn’t. And it is always the clients I never hear from that worry me the most. The real question isn’t retention. It’s this: If switching were easy, would they choose us again? #CustomerObsession #EarnLoyaltyEveryday

#HealthcarePayersTransformationAssembly was eye opening: Across sessions, it became clear that the next decade will belong to healthcare organizations that build around a single intelligence layer that unifies multiple aspects (utilization management, care management, quality, engagement, interoperability) into an integrated member-centric system. What stood out most: - AI should serve as an ecosystem, not point solutions. Siloed workflow automation won’t scale. - Technology must restore the human connection and give clinicians and patients time back for care. - There are many shared problems in healthcare. Progress happens when payers and providers design solutions together. The biggest opportunity in front of us is moving payer-provider relationships from transactional to truly collaborative based on shared data, shared intelligence, and shared accountability. Are we bold enough to redesign healthcare together?

Prior authorization doesn't have to be slow and painful. By leveraging Da Vinci IGs to automate the process, we are seeing a real transformation in payer-provider collaboration. We are moving away from bureaucratic delays and toward near real-time decisions. Less burden for providers. Faster care for patients. It’s a win-win for the healthcare ecosystem. #HL7 #DaVinci #HealthcareTechnology #Interoperability

Anyone who knows me knows my passion for E&M coding. Can this be automated? If so, what does this look like for all the subtleties around E&M coding, such as audits, provider education, regulations....I could go on and on. Well find out by attending this week's Office Hours!

It is clear the ACCESS Model is an opportunity for longitudinal tech enabled services to become an integral and impactful layer of care for millions of patients. I've had health system leaders, tech companies, practice administrators, and digital health founders reach out asking how to operationalize outcome-aligned care. Not just "what does ACCESS mean", but "how do we build the infrastructure to succeed in it." This is a complex program, but these are the problems I'm passionate about solving. These are the problems and opportunities RevelAi Health Health was built for: Closing care gaps and improving outcomes. Asynchronous care management at scale focused on high patient engagement and outcomes. Using technology and responsible AI to truly move the needle and making an impact on clinical care for all patients, especially the hardest-to-reach communities. CMS is launching ACCESS in July 2026 and the application opens in less than 3 weeks. Outcome-aligned payments. Technology-enabled engagement. Longitudinal PROMs collection at scale. The policy direction is abundantly clear. The operational path is where many organizations will struggle. At RevelAi, we're excited to work with organizations ready to layer AI agent-enhanced care coordination into their workflows; We've built our platform to meet HIE and reporting requirements, close care gaps, and build infrastructure that serves both ACCESS compliance and genuine patient needs. Yes, we’re at the cutting edge of clinical AI as an organization, but we are also collaborative, heavily clinically informed, and policy savvy. Our AI agents deliver 88% PRO completion in enrolled patients. 80% of inbound requests are resolved asynchronously. With our strongest partners we're deployed in weeks, not years. If you're exploring what ACCESS readiness looks like for your organization, or just want to think through the operational and policy realities together, reach out. #HealthcareInnovation #ValueBasedCare #ACCESSModel #CareCoordination #ClinicalAI

EHRs are becoming the front door for AI in healthcare but they can’t be the one stop solution Generic, EHR native AI works well for documentation, search, and basic workflow acceleration. Unfortunately, healthcare isn’t generic and regulation isn’t either. Each specialty operates under 50 different state and national coding rules, coverage policies, audit patterns, and compliance risk. A single, generalized AI model can’t safely cover all specialties without continuous, specialty specific tuning, compliance updates, and validation. Regulatory compliance must always be in the forefront of healthcare AI automation. We mustn’t forget, EHR platforms are built for breadth and standardization. High stake clinical and revenue decisions require depth, explainability, and regulatory accountability. The health systems seeing real results treat the EHR as an integration hub, pairing it with best of breed, specialty specific AI that can evolve as fast as regulations do.

A nurse pulling out her personal phone to use AI mid-shift is not a policy problem. She is telling you exactly where your system failed her. 72% of US clinicians do this. They reach for personal AI tools at work, their own phones and their own accounts, when the sanctioned option does not meet their needs. That number is from the new Philips data. The same survey says 70% call their AI training inadequate or missing. Most leaders read that training number and stop there. The personal-tool number is the one that matters. The workflow failed her at the moment she needed it, so she found something that worked. The personal tool filled a gap the organization built and cannot see. The standard response makes it worse. Lock it down. Write a policy. Add a training. None of that closes the gap. It pushes the workaround further underground. Shadow AI is not the disease. It is the diagnostic. Every place a clinician reaches for a personal tool is a map of where your workflow broke. This is the pattern underneath most failed health AI. RAND looked at why these projects fail and found five root causes. Only one is technical. The other four are organizational. The model is rarely the problem. The workflow it got dropped into is. I have been the nurse three patients behind who does not have time for the tool that adds a step. I have built the tool as a developer. I have decided whether it shipped as a PM. The pattern is always the same. The workflow assumed time the clinician did not have, or context she did not have, or a handoff that did not hold. You do not fix that with governance. You fix it by finding where the workflow failed and rebuilding that part to match how the work actually happens. I am a fractional product partner for healthcare technology. Former RN, former developer. I find where the workflow broke and rebuild it so the sanctioned tool is the one the clinician reaches for. If your AI is live and adoption is flat, that is a conversation worth having. https://jparkerpm.com/

Eric M DeYoung has been a close colleague and friend of mine for quite some time, and it’s been incredibly fun to watch his journey from VPO at Ivy Rehab Network, to COO of Spine & Sport Physical Therapy where he helped lead the company through a successful acquisition with Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN), and now starting again from building his own company from the ground up as CEO of Areté Health PT. What’s been especially impressive is the intentional focus on building the right technology infrastructure and foundation from day one. That focus has helped fuel growth to: 13 clinics in just 8 months 🚀 Excited to continue watching this next chapter unfold. 👏 Stay tuned for a full podcast on his story coming soon. #HealthcareInnovation #HealthTech #ClinicGrowth #Leadership
