Subtle Computing, a San Francisco–based voice-first computing company founded by David Harrison, Tyler Chen, Savannah Cofer, and Jackie Yang, has raised $6M in Seed funding led by Entrada Ventures, with participation from Amplify Partners, Abstract Ventures, and angel investors including founders of Twitter, Pinterest, and Perplexity. The Code Review reported on NVIDIA and Jensen Huang's announcement of the Drive AGX/Alpamayo autonomous technology, and what it means for industry players. With a special Fetii mention! "The announcement arrives at a moment when mobility players like Uber, Lyft, Waymo, and newer models such as high-capacity group transportation platform Fetii are defining increasingly distinct approaches to how people move." As NVIDIA and others standardize and open up autonomous vehicle technology, the cost curve will continue to compress and adoption will accelerate across OEMs. Autonomy won’t remain a novelty or a premium feature, it will become table stakes. The real advantage will belong to platforms that can turn that technology into sustained, high-utilization demand. That’s where Fetii is uniquely positioned. Today at NVIDIA GTC 2026 Jensen Huang announced CPO for scale-up by 2028. Optics are moving into the rack. What's next? Optical switches. Inference will be the predominant workload for AI factories, and Tokens the commodity. And like any commodity, tokens will increasingly segment over time, with users willing to pay a premium for the best Tokens-per-second/user performance - in other words, Interactivity. Here’s the key point: TPS/user performance is fundamentally constrained by the latency of the scale-up network. Salience Labs’ switches deliver <10 nanoseconds of latency. That is over 30X less than electrical packet switches, which range from 300-700 nanoseconds. This latency advantage translates into up-to 80% higher TPS/user performance. Lexsi Labs has achieved another milestone in Tabular Foundational Models. 3/3 papers are accepted in WWW. We started fairly early in the TFM space but our contributions are at par or more compared to any leading labs working on TFM. We introduced OrionMSP/OrionBix, a new architecture in TFMs and TabTune, our true open source efforts to make TFMs utility focused. 'TabTune' is the best tool to use any TFMs for inferencing or fine-tuning for classification. And unlike our peers, these are released fully with MIT license. We can't stress this enough, TFMs are great but they do come with challenges (scalability, learning curve, limited utility) and we are here to make sure to solve these. When most people hear "solid-state," they think storage. But in Santa Clara, xMEMS Labs just gave that term new resonance, literally. The company just raised $21M in Series D funding led by Boardman Bay Capital Management, with Cloudview Capital, CDIB-TEN Capital, Harbinger Ventures, Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, and other strategic investors tuning in. This isn't another round of capital, it's an #amplifier for a company turning silicon into a new language of #sound and #cooling for the AI era. Founded in 2018 by Joseph Jiang and Jemm Liang, xMEMS spun out of piezoelectric R&D at TSMC and turned what was once wafer-level theory into commercial hardware. Joseph Jiang, a veteran of Knowles, Fortemedia, and InvenSense, leads with precision and swagger, while Jemm Liang, who built Ultrachip from the ground up, drives the engineering with surgical focus. Co-Founder & CLO Wei-Fu Hsu, the former MediaTek exec and IP expert, ensures xMEMS' innovation is as protected as it is disruptive. Their play?
