“I have known Angela for over 7 years. She is multi-talented. First and foremost, her talent for cartooning started in Canada when she was accepted to a very prestigious art school, where she developed those inherent skills. But the ability to write a story line around that art-work is incredible. I always thought her work would be picked up and published in newspapers around the country! On top of her abilities she is a master baker. I know she has taken a few risks in starting her own business but without the capital backing, she has always opted for a regular and steady paying job. It is too bad that the world missed out on her ridiculously delicious treats!!! For the past 8 years she has done voice overs for internet commercials. Again, I always was waiting to hear that unique voice on a Disney movie. Perhaps one day. Overall, I have yet to meet such a multi-talented individual in my entire career. Over the years, as I got to know this unique individual, I was always wowed how talented she is.The artistry just continued to flow out of her non-stop. There are so many ultra talented people in this world that we will never get to experience because of the limitations and short-sightedness of that business. I hope that one day, Angela will be discovered and her talents shared with the world. ”

There is no perfect way for artists to present their art. Depends on the art; depends on the artist. How to proceed? Experiment with different approaches and introductions in search of ones that resonate. A good starting point is focusing on questions you regularly get asked and trying various answers to see which keep conversations going. Posting on SM is great for deciding what works. Comments and feedback will tell you if you're on the right track. More engagement, less confusion is the goal.
