Amy Neely Adkins shared thisDolly Parton may be the original personal brand masterclass. I met Dolly back in 1999 (sadly, before we had cameras on us at all times), and what I remember most wasn’t the fame, the hair, or even the larger-than-life presence. It was how she made people feel. At the time, I was going through something personally disappointing, and somehow in the middle of all her success, she took the time to genuinely encourage me. Not in a performative way. In a real way. She was exactly who you’d hope she would be. Warm. Funny. Kind. Encouraging. An absolute doll. And honestly, I think that’s why the world loves her so much. Dolly has never apologized for being who she is. She never tried to fit into someone else’s definition of what a woman should look like, sound like, or act like. She taught us that authenticity does not have to mean plain, understated, or “all natural.” Sometimes authenticity wears high heels, big blonde hair, rhinestones, and confidence. And yet behind all of that is one of the smartest, most generous, and most grounded women imaginable. She built a legendary career not just because of talent, but because she consistently used her platform to cheer other people on. Being a poor girl from the hills of Tennessee, I think I connect with her story even more. Ironically, the little house I grew up in looks almost identical to the one she grew up in and my mom also made my my clothes often. Maybe that’s part of why she always felt familiar to me. But more than anything, Dolly reminds me that you can fully become who YOU want to be in this world… while still being kind enough to lift others up along the way. ❤️ #WomenSupportingWomen #authenticallyYou

Amy Neely Adkins shared thisThere are some people you meet in business who stand out immediately. I still remember the first video call I had with Sheri Hinish back in 2021 when we both worked at IBM. The second that call ended, I remember thinking: “I want to know her.” Not because of a title. Not because of followers. Not because of accomplishments. But because she was unapologetically HER. You could immediately tell she cared deeply about her work, her voice, her purpose, her family, and the brand she was building around all of it. And honestly? That was inspiring to me. Fast forward to today and watching what she’s built as the “Supply Chain Queen” has been incredible: Founder & CEO of Supply Chain Revolution Global, podcast host, executive advisor, sustainability advocate, AI and innovation leader, Forbes contributor, keynote speaker… and one of the most recognizable voices in supply chain transformation today. But beyond all of that, she’s someone who makes you think bigger. Our conversation last nigh reminded me how important it is to surround yourself with people who inspire you… people who challenge you to evolve, build boldly, use your voice, and stop shrinking yourself to fit into someone else’s version of “professional.” The older I get, the more I realize: who you spend time with truly matters. Energy matters. Vision matters. Authenticity matters. And being around people who are fully themselves gives the rest of us permission to do the same. Thank you, Sheri R Hinish , for always inspiring me. 💛 #WomeninLeadership #TheBecomingEffect

Amy Neely Adkins shared thisFinance leaders are being asked to do more than ever right now… Close faster. Forecast smarter. Manage uncertainty. And somehow still have time to think strategically. The interesting part? AI is finally becoming practical inside finance — not just hype. This week Argano, Oracle and a few clients are talking about how organizations are using modern finance technology, automation, and AI to improve forecasting, accelerate close processes, and give CFOs better visibility into the business. If you’re a CFO, finance leader, or just curious where finance transformation is really headed, Sign up for this week's webinar: link is in comments. #ModernFinance #CFO #AI

Amy Neely Adkins shared thisProud to share that Argano has been recognized as a Star Performer and Major Contender in the Everest Group PEAK Matrix® for Oracle Cloud Application Services 2026. What I love about this recognition is that it reflects more than growth. It reflects the work our teams are doing every day to help clients modernize operations, embrace Oracle Cloud, and apply AI-driven solutions in practical, meaningful ways. For organizations navigating transformation, the right partner matters. It takes deep functional expertise, industry understanding, disciplined delivery, and the ability to help clients turn technology investments into real business outcomes. Congratulations to the entire Argano Oracle team. Proud to be part of this momentum. To learn more, see link in comments. #OracleCloud #AI #BusinessTransformation #Argano

Amy Neely Adkins shared thisDo you agree? Is cleaning your data the biggest reason to do an enterprise transformation?Amy Neely Adkins shared thisWhat's the single most compelling reason to do an enterprise transformation in 2026? Cleve Pohl, Vice President of Sales at Argano, doesn't hesitate: Clean Up Your Data. Not the flashy answer. Not AI. Not cloud capabilities. Not even the 30-40% ROI these transformations deliver. It's Data. "If you allow it, your data will help you run your business. You'll see operational resilience." Here's the reality: AI capabilities are now embedded in applications, ready to reduce workload and automate repeatable processes. None of it works without clean data. The technology is ready. Your processes might not be. "You can't even begin to see the benefits until you actually get started and think about how you're going to clean up those business processes." Transformation isn't about adopting new tools. It's about preparing your foundation so those tools can actually deliver value. The work isn't glamorous - but it's the difference between transformation that fails and transformation that scales.

Amy Neely Adkins shared thisOne of the most useful things that ever happened to me was being underestimated. Not because it felt good. It didn’t. But because being underestimated teaches you something important: You do not need everyone to see your value right away. Sometimes people misread you. They mistake quiet for weakness. Femininity for fluff. Polish for superficiality. Grace for a lack of grit. Let them. Because while they’re busy making assumptions, you’re busy building. Building confidence. Building resilience. Building a life, a voice, and a presence they didn’t see coming. At some point, you stop performing for other people’s perception and start trusting your own substance. And that’s where real power begins. Have you ever been underestimated and later realized it worked in your favor? #TheBecomingEffect #womeninleadership

Amy Neely Adkins shared thisI know how this feels from being fired because I was with child to also standing up for myself. I’m thankful this doesn’t happen as often as it once did…but I’d be surprised if it was 100% never a factor in today’s world. Btw, this is an excellent show if you haven’t watched it.Amy Neely Adkins shared this"She knew her rights. And she stood on that." That’s the line that comes to mind when I think of Elizabeth Zott—brought powerfully to life by Brie Larson in the series Lessons in Chemistry. In a world that told women where they did not belong, Elizabeth chose to define where she did. From being dismissed as a lab assistant despite her brilliance, to standing up against a system built to silence her voice, she showed us this: knowing your worth isn’t enough… you have to insist on it. In worklife, too, rights and recognition don’t come as gifts wrapped neatly. Like Zott, we often find ourselves in rooms where our presence is underestimated, or our contribution under-credited. That is exactly when standing firm—on facts, on fairness, on ourselves—matters the most. Just as Elizabeth transformed a simple cooking show into a broadcast of knowledge and empowerment, we too can transform everyday conversations at the workplace into platforms for equity, respect, and growth. The lesson? Whether it’s science, leadership, or life itself: when you know your value, don’t wait for validation. Stand on it. Build on it. And never step back from it.

Amy Neely Adkins shared thisFinance transformation sounds big and complicated. But at the end of the day, it usually comes down to a very human question: Can your team see what’s happening fast enough to make better decisions? Because when finance teams are still buried in spreadsheets, manual reporting, disconnected planning cycles, and “let me get back to you on that” moments… growth gets harder than it needs to be. Modern EPM is changing that. It helps finance leaders move from: “Here’s what happened last quarter.” to “Here’s what we see coming, why it matters, and what we can do about it.” That is where finance becomes more than a reporting function. It becomes a growth engine. Argano is hosting Driving Performance in Finance — And Beyond on Thursday, May 21 at 1:00 PM EST, featuring finance and EPM leaders including Frank Rossello, Glen Lambert, Michael Hansen, John Miller, and Terrance D. Walker, PMP. They’ll be sharing real frameworks, decisions, and lessons learned around modern EPM and finance transformation. And selfishly, these are the conversations I love because this is where technology gets practical. Not shiny-object practical. Actually-help-the-business-run-better practical. Amy Neely Adkins reacted on thisAmy Neely Adkins reacted on thisThe difference between people who write their books and people who never do? It's not talent. It's not the time. It's not even a skill. It's one decision: to start before you feel ready. People who write their book: ✅ Start before they feel ready ✅ Take messy, imperfect action ✅ Make writing non-negotiable ✅ Focus on progress, not perfection ✅ Seek accountability and mentorship ✅ See the value in their story People who never do: ❌ Wait for the perfect time ❌ Overthink every detail ❌ Doubt their ability to finish ❌ Treat writing as "when I have time." ❌ Wait for confidence to show up first Confidence doesn't come before the book. It comes because you wrote it. Your story already matters. The only question is whether you'll commit to telling it. Amy Neely Adkins liked thisSO excited to join Sheri R Hinish at the Sustainable Apparel and Texiles Conference hosted by Innovation Forum next week! To prep for the event, I reccomend giving a listen to the Supply Chain Revolution ep featuring Christine Goulay. Together, Sheri and Christine unpack the state of sustainable apparel in North America and what it looks like going forward. listen to the ep here: https://lnkd.in/eZD9WcUjAmy Neely Adkins liked thisT-MINUS ONE WEEK! The Innovation Forum has spent over 30 years convening the conversations that actually moveindustries forward. No scripts. No jargon. Chatham House rules. Radical honesty. On June 3-4, The Sustainable Apparel and Textiles Conference USA arrives in New York City, bringing 230+ leaders across brands, retailers, suppliers, innovators, and policymakers for two days of practical, off-the-record problem solving. The agenda includes the California Textile Recovery Act (a Q&A with CalRecycle), the Fashion Act and its timeline, creative financing to scale sustainable production, textile-to-textile recycling economics, and nature-positive strategies for true circularity. In the lead-up to the event, Sheri R Hinish sat down with Christine Goulay, a 20-year veteran of sustainability in fashion, for a conversation on where brands actually stand, not where their marketing says they stand. Find the links to the full episode in the comments! Sustainable apparel is not a niche concern. It is a supply chain systems challenge that requires the same rigor, collaboration, and design thinking as any major operational transformation. See you next week in New York.

Amy Neely Adkins liked thisAmy Neely Adkins liked thisThe most underrated skill in sustainability leadership right now? Knowing your audience's love language. Christine Goulay, Founder of Sustainabelle Advisory Services, has spent 20 years watching sustainability initiatives stall — not because of strategy, but because of language. Stop saying ESG. Say resilience. Stop saying sustainability. Say risk reduction. Speak to the KPIs of the person across the table. Show them how it helps them. That is the conversation that moves boards, unlocks budgets, and gets initiatives off the slide deck and into execution. Amy Neely Adkins liked thisI could not be more proud of my daughter! She excelled both academically and athletically the last four years at USC Upstate. Next up…she will be attending UNC Chapel Hill to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.Amy Neely Adkins liked thisOn May 7th, I graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate with my Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science, graduating summa cum laude. Looking back, I could not be more grateful for my time at Upstate — for the lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and the opportunities that shaped me both personally and professionally. Athletically, I had the privilege of competing at the Division I level alongside some of my best friends. Through championships, adversity, and competition, I learned the value of discipline, resilience, leadership, and pushing myself to be the best version of myself both on and off the field. Academically, I was challenged in the best ways possible and discovered a true passion for research and the science behind sport performance. I am incredibly thankful for my mentors, Toni Brem and Pat Saracino , whose guidance and support helped expand my understanding of exercise science beyond the classroom and showed me how research can directly impact athlete performance, health, and recovery. Being able to contribute to and learn through research has been one of the most rewarding parts of my undergraduate experience. While this chapter is coming to a close, I am so excited to begin the next one at UNC Chapel Hill as I pursue my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. I look forward to continuing to grow as a student, researcher, and future clinician in the field of sports medicine and rehabilitation. Thank you to my family, friends, teammates, coaches, professors, and mentors who supported me throughout this journey. Forever grateful for my time at Upstate and excited for what’s ahead.

Amy Neely Adkins liked thisAmy Neely Adkins liked thisPartnerships don't just create connections. They create revenue. Tamara Warren (Buzzetta), SVP of Ecosystems & Strategic Partnerships at Argano, sees alliances as the conductor of an orchestra - bringing together marketing, sales, delivery, and support teams to play one unified tune: high performance operations. "Bringing relationships together and partnering creates strategy, creates ideation that leads to opportunities to build revenue." Argano orchestrates across multiple platforms - Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce - connecting internally across divisions and externally with partners. Each connection drives what she calls "influenced ROI" and "influenced attribution revenue." It's not about having technology. It's about connecting it strategically. When partners align, possibilities multiply. Efficiencies improve. Revenue accelerates. Market value amplifies. High performance operations don't happen in silos. They happen when every instrument plays in harmony toward the same goal. The question isn't whether partnerships matter. It's whether you're orchestrating them strategically.

Oracle Cloud HCM success isn’t about turning on more features. It’s about turning on the right capabilities at the right time. Every organization sits somewhere on an HCM maturity curve, and real value shows up when timing, foundation, and governance are aligned. Feature availability doesn’t equal readiness. Maturity matters. #OracleHCM #HRTransformation #HCMStrategy #DigitalTransformation #HRTechnology #ChangeManagement
