Connect your Dynamics ATS to Recruiter

You can integrate LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect, ATS-Enabled Reporting, and Apply Connect with Dynamics ATS so you can access real-time candidate data without switching platforms. You can activate Apply Connect in Dynamics ATS with or without having Recruiter System Connect enabled.

Access the steps below to activate Recruiter System Connect or Apply Connect in Dynamics ATS.

You can connect your Dynamics ATS with LinkedIn Recruiter via the LinkedIn onboarding widget so you can access real-time candidate data without switching platforms.

You’ll need to do the following actions, in sequence, to activate RSC in Dynamics ATS. If you have more than one contract, you'll need to repeat the steps for each contract.

Before you begin

Review the following requirements so you can activate the integration in your ATS. Reach out to your internal IT team for help if needed.

Make sure you’re an admin in LinkedIn Recruiter and your ATS. You must have a Hiring Project Creator license with admin permission in Recruiter. See Available license and permission types in Recruiter for more information about permissions.
Remember your Recruiter dashboard name and contract ID. To find your dashboard name and ID, move your cursor over the profile photo on your Recruiter homepage.
Use a supported internet browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Chrome.
Use an incognito or private browser window.
Disable any settings that block third-party cookies or cross-site tracking. Reach out to your internal IT team if you need help disabling cookies/tracking.
If you have more than one contract, you'll need to repeat the following steps for each contract.

Important to know

You need to disable third-party (www.linkedin.com) cookie blocking or content blocking for any widgets to render in your browser, regardless of the browser you use.

Step 1: Activate RSC in Dynamics ATS

To activate RSC in Dynamics ATS, follow these required steps as a prerequisite for the integration:

Sign in to LinkedIn Recruiter.
In a separate tab, sign in to Dynamics ATS as an admin.
In Dynamics ATS, navigate to Settings and click ATS Settings.
Under Integration, click LinkedIn.
Click the Settings icon at the top-right of the Integration page. The LinkedIn onboarding widget will open so you can set up the RSC integrations in Dynamics ATS.

Step 2: Set up RSC integrations in Dynamics ATS

Once you have configured the integration using the steps outlined above, you can activate integrations in one instance, across all packages, within the LinkedIn onboarding widget.

The Recruiter System Connect integration allows you to use Unified Search and Recommended Matches to optimize your candidate searches both within and outside your ATS. Unified Search allows you to search for candidates in your ATS and LinkedIn simultaneously. You can access your ATS’s candidate records that exist outside of LinkedIn and explore LinkedIn outside of your ATS. You can also set up Recommended Matches to discover candidate recommendations based on job descriptions you post in your ATS. Follow the steps below to enable RSC integrations in Dynamics ATS.

Here's a tip

If an integration package or feature is disabled, it's likely your ATS is currently not offering it, or you don’t have permission to adjust this package. Check with your ATS to ensure all features are enabled or to request an integration.

Important to know

The default access level for the Recruiter System Connect integration is set at the contract level. The default access level for ATS-Enabled Reporting is set at the company level.

To set up RSC integrations in Dynamics ATS:

In the LinkedIn onboarding widget, click the Choose integrations button.
Click the checkbox next to Recruiter System Connect to enable Recruiter System Connect.
- Note: ATS-Enabled Reporting is automatically selected by default. You can deselect this if you want to opt out of ATS-Enabled Reporting.
Click Save changes.
- If the connection is taking too long, click Notify ATS to refresh the connection.

RSC is now activated in Dynamics ATS.

Step 1: Connect LinkedIn Recruiter to Dynamics ATS

To activate ATS-Enabled Reporting in Dynamics ATS, follow the steps above to activate RSC, a prerequisite for ATS-Enabled Reporting. If you have already enabled RSC, proceed to Step 2: Activate ATS-Enabled Reporting in Dynamics ATS.

Step 2: Activate ATS-Enabled Reporting in Dynamics ATS

Once you have configured the RSC integration using the steps outlined above, set up ATS-Enabled Reporting following the steps outlined below.

You can connect your Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with the Recruiter System Connect (RSC) integration, so information from one platform is viewable in the other.

As an admin, you can activate the ATS-Enabled Reporting integration. ATS-Enabled Reporting includes two reports: ATS-Enabled Hiring Funnel report and ATS-Enabled Source report. These reports provide a unified view of cross-platform hiring activity, including insight into hiring funnel stages and industry benchmarks that are only available on LinkedIn.

You can enable the ATS-Enabled Reporting integration when you activate RSC and set up the integration with your ATS.

To activate ATS-Enabled Reporting as you set up the integration with your ATS:

Navigate to the LinkedIn onboarding widget in your ATS and click Choose integrations.
Click the checkbox next to Recruiter System Connect to enable Recruiter System Connect.
- Note: ATS-Enabled Reporting is automatically selected by default. You can deselect this if you want to opt out of ATS-Enabled Reporting.
Click Save changes.
- If the connection is taking too long, click Notify ATS to refresh the connection.

To activate ATS-Enabled Reporting in Recruiter after integrating your ATS:

Move your cursor over your profile on your Recruiter homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown.
Select Integrations > Manage integrations on the left rail.
Next to Dynamics, click Edit.
Under the ATS-Enabled Reporting Settings section, select Activate Reporting feature for all contracts in your company.
Click Save.

ATS-Enabled Reporting is now activated in Dynamics ATS.

To activate Apply Connect in Dynamics ATS, follow these required steps as a prerequisite for the integration:

In Dynamics ATS, navigate to Settings and click ATS Settings.
Under Integration, click LinkedIn.
Click the Settings icon at the top-right of the Integration page. The LinkedIn onboarding widget will open so you can set up the RSC integrations in Dynamics ATS.

Step 2: Activate Apply Connect in Dynamics ATS

Once you have configured the integration using the steps outlined above, the LinkedIn onboarding widget will appear.

To activate Apply Connect in Dynamics ATS:

In the LinkedIn onboarding widget, click the Choose integrations button.
Click the checkbox next Apply Connect.
Click Save changes.
- If the connection is taking too long, click Notify ATS to refresh the connection.

Apply Connect is now activated in Dynamics ATS.

Important to know

The default access level for Apply Connect is set at the company level.

If you’re having trouble setting up integrations in Dynamics ATS, follow these troubleshooting tips:

Check that you’re an admin for the contract or have authorization to access the LinkedIn dashboard.
Change your browser settings to accept cookies.
Clear your cache for both LinkedIn and Dynamics ATS, and then restart the configuration.
If you have more than one contract, make sure you complete the steps above for each contract.
