Sometimes, more IS better. Last week at ION GNSS+, we joined forces with Xona and Safran for a live demonstration, thereby proving the future of resilient PNT has arrived. The demo showcased the new Trimble BX1092i receiver tracking, decrypting, and authenticating a full constellation of simulated Xona #LEO signals, including X1 and X5. Pairing high-power, Low Earth Orbit satellite signals with the "all-in-view" continuous tracking of our new #TrimbleMaxwell8 GNSS modules provides unprecedented global satellite availability to users everywhere on Earth. And by layering these signal sources with end-to-end cryptographic authentication, we’re delivering unmatched signal security to protect our next-generation receiver systems against evolving threats. A huge thank you to Safran for hosting and driving the simulation setup! This live showcase is proof that the GNSS ecosystem is stronger when we innovate together.

The screenshot below shows the recently launched Trimble Inc. BX1092i not only tracking the Xona X1 and X5 signals but also decrypting and authenticating them. Over a year ago, we first tracked the Xona signal from the first Pulsar satellite. The encryption and authentication were turned on a few months ago, and we were again able to process the signals from the satellite in space. Today, together with the Xona and Safran teams, Ed Norse and I had the pleasure of demonstrating the receiver working with a full constellation of simulated Xona signals, including the security features, using Safran’s simulator, at ION GNSS+. Thanks to Xona and Safran - Navigation & Timing for their work over the last month+ to make this demonstration possible, and to the Trimble team for the receiver updates to support this new signal feature.

At ION GNSS+ this week, we're sharing more details about how Pulsar is built for the demands of our modern world. Across 8 sessions, engineers across Xona will share new results and research, joining our growing ecosystem of industry partners sharing insights from their own experiences with signals from Pulsar-0.
