Cruising down the road in the #Jammertest motorcade and ran straight into a local traffic jam! 🐑 No form of interference, whether radio frequency or wooly jammers, can disrupt Trimble data capture out in Andøya. 📡 #GNSS #jamming

And just like that, the jamming is neutralized in a flash.⚡ Fresh from a #Jammertest 2026 Day 1 transmission, we can see the new #TrimbleJammerGuard kicking into action. 🔴 Top plot (pre-JammerGuard): Intense swept-frequency jamming (known as chirp jamming) rolled out over our GNSS receivers and cut a pronounced, vertical, multi-colored streak through the left edge of our Spectrum Analyzer plot, around the 1170 MHz mark. 🟢 Bottom plot (post-JammerGuard): We can clearly visualize how Trimble’s patent pending JammerGuard™ digital signal processing deployed automatically, in real time, to surgically remove the jamming interference. The intense multi-colored energy from the interference is now gone, leaving a cleaner spectrum for improved signal availability and positioning accuracy. We’re so excited to capture this streak of GNSS mitigation ingenuity as it happened.

Do you know the 5 key technologies shaping Trimble’s OEM GNSS platforms? Take a look at the core capabilities driving our current technology portfolio and setting the trajectory for the next generation of positioning: - Maxwell technology: Trimble's core ASIC designed for GNSS tracking and observables creation. - ProPoint: Trimble's GNSS sensor fusion engine. - IonoGuard: Suite of tools designed to address ionospheric and scintillation challenges. - RTX-NMA: A new authentication message to complement Galileo OSNMA used for spoofing mitigation. - JammerGuard: Multi-layered defense strategy designed to address modern GNSS jamming issues. Together, these technologies integrated into our next gen GNSS solutions bring more processing power, faster integration, improved inertial performance, and greater resilience to the next generation of surveying and mapping. Modern GNSS is not just about accuracy, it's about staying reliable, available with highest integrity in an increasingly complex environment.

Sometimes, more IS better. Last week at ION GNSS+, we joined forces with Xona and Safran for a live demonstration, thereby proving the future of resilient PNT has arrived. The demo showcased the new Trimble BX1092i receiver tracking, decrypting, and authenticating a full constellation of simulated Xona #LEO signals, including X1 and X5. Pairing high-power, Low Earth Orbit satellite signals with the "all-in-view" continuous tracking of our new #TrimbleMaxwell8 GNSS modules provides unprecedented global satellite availability to users everywhere on Earth. And by layering these signal sources with end-to-end cryptographic authentication, we’re delivering unmatched signal security to protect our next-generation receiver systems against evolving threats. A huge thank you to Safran for hosting and driving the simulation setup! This live showcase is proof that the GNSS ecosystem is stronger when we innovate together.

#JammerTest in Andøya, Norway, is complete! We spent the week putting Trimble’s precise positioning technology through heavy real-world interference, testing our systems against aggressive jamming and spoofing scenarios. And we can confidently say the process did not disappoint. With so much packed into five days, we had ample opportunities to assess #TrimbleJammerGuard technology performance, evaluate #GNSSResilience differentiators with and without INS, and identify key areas for future optimization. We were also treated to fun run-ins with Norwegian wildlife, great meals with colleagues and friends, and some truly spectacular views. Now, we’re excited to get home and dig into the data to keep sharpening our advanced defenses for the field. But first... sleep. Dave Vanden Berg David Wallinger Ernst Phillip M.

That’s a wrap on INTERGEO 2026, and what a week! We came to the show with a new generation of #TrimbleMaxwell8 GNSS modules built for performance, and it was great to put them in the hands of OEMs and integrators tackling some of the toughest in-field challenges facing GNSS today. We also had the opportunity to showcase what’s new across the BX1092i, BD1092i, BD1092 and BD1090. We’re leaving the show with new conversations, new challenges to consider and plenty of momentum for what’s ahead. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Trimble booth to connect, ask questions and get hands-on with Maxwell 8. Until next time, #INTERGEO!

The Trimble team spent the day pushing #TrimbleJammerGuard to its limits with our new #TrimbleMaxwell8 GNSS modules, the BX1092i and BD1092i product line. We put the receivers through significant levels of jamming and saw a clear difference in their ability to maintain position at high accuracy levels with JammerGuard, compared to receivers operating without it. Even under challenging conditions, the receivers continued to deliver accurate positioning, giving us some great data to dig into. Next it's time to crunch the numbers. We’ll be looking closely at today’s results to quantify the improvements and better understand what JammerGuard can deliver in challenging GNSS environments. A big thank you to Dave Vanden Berg for stopping in for a brief mid-week update. But we’re not done yet. Tomorrow is another day for the books at Jammertest!

Let’s talk #Jammertest transmissions. In this early testing snapshot, we are starting to visualize the impact of our work. This screenshot highlights a test under high-power, continuous-wave jamming across all GNSS bands. The right panel shows a #TrimbleMaxwell8 receiver running JammerGuard, maintaining an RTK fixed position throughout while tracking 31 satellites, with horizontal and height error estimates of 0.008 meters and 0.017 meters, respectively. By contrast, the receiver on the left side running the same test without Maxwell 8 and #TrimbleJammerGuard degraded to an "Autonomous" position, tracked only 9 satellites, and produced much larger error estimates of 0.445 meters and 0.583 meters. As early performance data rolls in, it’s clear that our new positioning solution and technology are keeping missions moving reliably compared to the traditional defense approach. There is certainly more to come, as our Trimble test engineers dived into a multitude of concurrent test scenarios, including power ramp tests, meaconing, and high-power unintentional RFI. We got up close to a jammer transmitter (unceremoniously strapped to a battery) encircled by participating vehicles to create a close-range jamming radius that put our receivers through the rigors. One engineer participated in lower-power motorcade tests that also included some favorable results: a breathtaking view.

On location at ION GNSS+ and ready for a full conference discussing receivers and resilience. We’ve got plenty to say about GNSS interference mitigation as the topic of the hour, especially with regards to jamming and spoofing as a timely and prevalent industry challenge. Trimble's Fabian Rothmaier leads the conversation in discussing the necessity for a multi-layered defense against #jamming and spoofing, including intervention which spans the gamut of automatic signal processing and sensor fusion, cryptographic authentication and data visualization. He highlights operational data of Trimble RTX-NMA corrections authentication tokens successfully identifying and excluding corrupted positioning data from real-world #spoofing attacks. Meanwhile, our team Ed Norse and Anna Jarvis are here at Booth 212 to showcase how innovative defense architecture takes form in the new #TrimbleMaxwell8 GNSS modules with #TrimbleJammerGuard technology. The next generation product lineup is on hand to demonstrate how uncompromising accuracy, unmatched protection and future-ready flexibility all coalesce in a familiar form factor that’s built on safety, reliability and trust. We look forward to speaking with you throughout the show!
