I spent the weekend at Mission Fest BC 2026 in Chilliwack, and the theme "God's Love For You" really put things into perspective. As I walked through the hall and met with 90+ missionary agencies, one thing was clear: the message is eternal, but the delivery methods must be excellent. In 2026, a website isn’t just a brochure—it’s an invitation. - A slow site is a barrier to a seeker. - A broken donation page is a hurdle for a supporter. - Outdated security is a risk to your ministry’s reputation. At Vine and Code, we believe that technical excellence is a form of worship. We handle the PHP updates, site speed, and SEO so that you can stay focused on the "Great Commission." It was an honor to see so many familiar faces from the Fraser Valley and beyond. If we didn't get to chat at the Heritage Park, I'd love to connect here! #MissionFestBC #DigitalStewardship #VineAndCode #MinistryTech #ChilliwackBC

  • 🌿 Looking Ahead to 2026 — Vine & Code As we look toward 2026, we're filled with a sense of purpose for Vine & Code and the ministries we have the privilege of serving. This past year has been about building foundations — refining technical workflows and strengthening the systems that allow organizations to steward their digital presence with confidence. In 2026, a few priorities rise to the surface: 1. Deepening and crafting partnerships with ministries and nonprofits Our heart is to serve mission‑driven organizations with clarity, care, and technical excellence. We're committed to expanding support for ministries, Christian schools, and global mission organizations who rely on stable, secure websites to carry out their work. 2. Strengthening technical infrastructure From WordPress maintenance to performance tuning, security hardening, and backend troubleshooting, Vine & Code will continue focusing on the behind‑the‑scenes work that keeps organizations running smoothly. 3. Serving with integrity and long‑term vision Whether supporting a local school or assisting global ministries, we want every partnership to reflect transparency, reliability, and a commitment to long‑term impact. If your organization is looking for support with WordPress maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical improvements in the year ahead, we'd be glad to connect. Here’s to a year of meaningful work, strong partnerships, and serving organizations that are making a real difference.

  • Most ministries, nonprofits, and small teams don’t need a full website rebuild — they need clarity, performance, and someone who can translate the technical into the practical. If you’ve been wondering whether your site is slow, confusing, or holding back your message, I’m opening a few 15‑minute discovery calls each week. No pitch. Just clarity and next steps. 👉 Book a time here: https://lnkd.in/grpFxtxh

  • 🌿 Introducing Vine and Code 🌿 I’m excited to share a new chapter: Vine and Code. This initiative is born out of a desire to serve mission-oriented organizations, Christian ministries, and entrepreneurs—whether their projects are small or large. My vision is simple: to help teams stabilize their web presence and keep their websites thriving. That might mean: - Fixing bugs that slow things down - Developing new features to expand impact - Maintaining systems by optimizing content and resources I believe that technology should be a tool that empowers, not a burden that distracts. Vine and Code is here to ensure that your digital foundation is strong, reliable, and ready to grow. As we look ahead to 2026, I’d love to connect with others who share this mission. Let’s collaborate, dream, and build plans together that make a lasting difference. 👉 If you’re part of a ministry, a mission-driven organization, or an entrepreneur seeking support, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s explore how Vine and Code can help you flourish online.

Stewardship matters — even in the digital world. For ministries, schools, and faith‑driven organizations, a website isn’t just a technical asset. It’s a front door, a discipleship tool, and often the first place someone encounters your mission. When it’s healthy, fast, and well‑maintained, it becomes a powerful extension of your ministry. When it’s neglected, it quietly limits your reach. At Vine & Code, we believe that caring for your web presence is an act of stewardship — one that helps you reach the people you’re called to serve. Whether your organization uses WordPress, HubSpot, or a combination of both, intentional maintenance can make a measurable difference in how effectively your message travels. That includes: Keeping content fresh and aligned with your mission Updating pages, events, resources, and stories so your community always sees what’s current and relevant. Improving performance and stability Diagnosing slow load times, plugin conflicts, hosting bottlenecks, or backend issues that make editing frustrating. Developing new features that support ministry goals From custom forms and event workflows to membership tools, donation integrations, and improved user journeys. Strengthening security and reliability Protecting your community from downtime, vulnerabilities, and disruptions that can erode trust. Good stewardship isn’t just about fixing what’s broken — it’s about creating a digital foundation that helps your ministry flourish. If your organization is ready to strengthen its online presence, I’d love to support you in that journey. #MinistryTech #DigitalStewardship #FaithAndTechnology #ChurchCommunications #NonprofitTech #WordPressCare #HubSpotCMS #WebsiteMaintenance #VineAndCode #DigitalMinistry #TechForGood #ChristianOrganizations

  • 🛠️ Why WordPress Maintenance Isn’t Optional 🛠️ This week, my website suddenly went down. No warning. No error messages. Just… gone. After some digging and a few support tickets, I discovered the issue: my hosting provider had quietly decommissioned the server my site was pointing to. No notice. No migration plan. Just a dead link to a dead server. It was a wake-up call—even for someone who lives and breathes WordPress. Here’s the thing: WordPress maintenance isn’t just about plugin updates or backups. It’s about vigilance. It’s about knowing where your site lives, how it’s configured, and what dependencies it relies on. And it’s about having systems in place to catch issues before your visitors do. ✅ Regular uptime monitoring ✅ Offsite backups ✅ DNS and hosting audits ✅ Proactive communication with your host ✅ A clear recovery plan If you’re running a ministry, nonprofit, or small business, your website is more than just a digital brochure—it’s your front door. And you deserve to know it’s being looked after. If you’re not sure who’s watching your site… it might be time to find out. #WordPress #WebsiteMaintenance #Hosting #DigitalStewardship #FaithAndTech #VineAndCode
