I spent the weekend at Mission Fest BC 2026 in Chilliwack, and the theme "God's Love For You" really put things into perspective. As I walked through the hall and met with 90+ missionary agencies, one thing was clear: the message is eternal, but the delivery methods must be excellent. In 2026, a website isn’t just a brochure—it’s an invitation. - A slow site is a barrier to a seeker. - A broken donation page is a hurdle for a supporter. - Outdated security is a risk to your ministry’s reputation. At Vine and Code, we believe that technical excellence is a form of worship. We handle the PHP updates, site speed, and SEO so that you can stay focused on the "Great Commission." It was an honor to see so many familiar faces from the Fraser Valley and beyond. If we didn't get to chat at the Heritage Park, I'd love to connect here! #MissionFestBC #DigitalStewardship #VineAndCode #MinistryTech #ChilliwackBC

If your team can’t say it in one sentence, your donors can’t support it. Sorry to be too blunt but it truly is that simple. When a ministry lacks funding, it usually isn't because donors don’t care... It’s normally because the message is unclear. If: – Your staff explains the mission differently – Your board emphasizes different priorities – Your website says one thing – Your appeal says another Donors will hesitate. Confusion will lead to distance. On the other hand, clarity creates unity... Unity creates confidence... And confidence fuels a whole bunch of generosity. Try the following this week: Ask three people on your team to describe your mission in one sentence. Do the answers match? If they don’t, this is sign to invite them all to be on the same page. Clarity is one of the greatest gifts you can give your team… and your donors. #clarity #unity #beliefs #relationships #funds #MRPDonorDevelopment

Supporting veterans requires more than appreciation - it requires access, connection, and practical support. Organizations like Go Mobile Assets are doing exactly that by helping ensure veterans can get where they need to go. Reliable transportation may seem like a simple service, but for many veterans it can make the difference between being able to attend medical appointments, participate in community events, connect with resources, and remain engaged with the support systems around them. By providing transportation assistance, Go Mobile Assets helps remove barriers that can otherwise make it difficult for veterans to access the care and opportunities they deserve. Nonprofits that focus on these practical needs play an important role in strengthening the broader network of support available to those who have served. We are grateful to see organizations like Go Mobile Assets stepping up to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans! #VeteranSupport #CommunityImpact #NonprofitLeadership #ServingThoseWhoServe Donald Jarvis

If my LinkedIn profile were a plant, it would definitely be a succulent... low-maintenance and surviving on very little "social" water since 2020. 🌵 While I’ve been quiet here, the work has been anything but. The past five years have been a deep dive into two worlds that, on the surface, couldn’t seem more different: Churches and Death Care. I’ve spent my time: - Helping faith-based non-profits find their voice in a digital-first world. - Partnering with the incredible team at Arlington Memorial Gardens to bring innovation and empathy to the funeral and cemetery industry. Turns out, whether you’re growing a congregation or honoring a legacy, the goal is the same: telling stories that actually matter. It’s good to be back. What’s the biggest thing I’ve missed in your world since 2020? 👇

Called to a Life of Service: Jeff Kramer traces his fundraising career back to a single formative moment at a Jewish summer camp in Los Angeles. During a traditional end-of-Sabbath program, he felt an overwhelming internal sense that his life’s work should be in nonprofit service. There was no voice, no vision—just a clear conviction that he was meant to serve others. He followed that pull into his first role as a fundraising intern at the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, and never left the field. Forty-three years later, he’s still doing the work he felt called to as a teenager—now as Vice President of Development at Nova Ukraine, helping mobilize resources for people in crisis. #FundraisingLeaders #DrewClancy #JeffKramer #NovaUkraine #NonprofitLeadership #FundraisingCareer #CalledToServe #YouTubeShorts

Hundreds of thousands of veterans live in rural Virginia. Many of the systems meant to support them assume people live near a VA hospital, have reliable internet, have access to public transportation, and already know how to navigate complicated federal programs. That simply isn’t the reality for many veterans and families in our communities. At Mountain Valor, we built our work around a different approach: instead of expecting veterans and their families to find the system, we go to them. This short video explains who we are, what we do, and how we’re working to strengthen support networks for veterans and their families across rural Virginia. If you’re part of a business, nonprofit, or community organization that cares about supporting veterans locally, we’d love to connect.

I've longed believed corporations have the opportunity to do good and still serve their overall mission. The recently launched Cloudinary Creators Community is one such initiative. We've partnered with five different non-profits around the world to bring media-related development skills to early-career developers through structured training and engagement. We're working with Developers in Vogue, GirlScript Foundation, HackYourFuture Denmark, Tampa Devs, and Vets Who Code to make this training more accessible and relevant. The story of impact💪 If you saw my last post about being "Busy in the Field," this is what that looked like in action.🎬 I recently had the honor of traveling to Narok for a mission that goes beyond just charity,it’s about building a sustainable future for the girls of Olderkesi High School. In a powerful collaboration between KenyaModelUnitedNations (KMUN) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we were able to facilitate the donation of 10,000 sanitary pads.💪 But we didn’t just leave a donation; we started a relationship.🤝 At Olderkesi, we saw firsthand the resilience of young women who deserve every opportunity to stay in the classroom. This trip wasn't just about the numbers; it was about the "Next-Gen" leadership I’ve been talking about, where diplomacy meets the ground, and where the Silicon Savannah reaches our most remote classrooms. A huge thank you to the team at KMUN and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and @Amb.Njambi Kinungi for recognizing that the "Future We’re Building" starts with ensuring no girl is held back by a lack of basic necessities.🍃 🏗This is only the beginning. 🌁The bridge between innovation, diplomacy, and grassroots impact is officially open. 🇰🇪✨ #IWD2026 #DignityForAll #KenyaTech #YouthLeadership #KMUN #MinistryOfForeignAffairs #PadCare #ImpactInAction

At 21, Kate Gardner inherited a stock portfolio that most young adults could only dream of. Instead of using it for herself, she asked a bigger question: How can I make this wealth count for eternity? Kate chose to use a donor advised fund at The Signatry to support over 60 missionaries, combining financial giving with prayer, personal connection, and ongoing encouragement. Today, that decision fuels gospel work on the ground in 30+ nations, from church planting and Bible translation to humanitarian relief and discipleship in underserved communities. She has built relationships, provided consistent support, and even hosted missionaries in her home to offer hospitality as an extension of her generosity. She learns their stories, prays for their families, celebrates wins, and walks with them through challenges. This is what it looks like when generational wealth becomes generational impact. To watch more of Kate's journey of generosity and learning to steward generational wealth to support missionaries at https://lnkd.in/gJXWDCUs.
