Stewardship matters — even in the digital world. For ministries, schools, and faith‑driven organizations, a website isn’t just a technical asset. It’s a front door, a discipleship tool, and often the first place someone encounters your mission. When it’s healthy, fast, and well‑maintained, it becomes a powerful extension of your ministry. When it’s neglected, it quietly limits your reach. At Vine & Code, we believe that caring for your web presence is an act of stewardship — one that helps you reach the people you’re called to serve. Whether your organization uses WordPress, HubSpot, or a combination of both, intentional maintenance can make a measurable difference in how effectively your message travels. That includes: Keeping content fresh and aligned with your mission Updating pages, events, resources, and stories so your community always sees what’s current and relevant. Improving performance and stability Diagnosing slow load times, plugin conflicts, hosting bottlenecks, or backend issues that make editing frustrating. Developing new features that support ministry goals From custom forms and event workflows to membership tools, donation integrations, and improved user journeys. Strengthening security and reliability Protecting your community from downtime, vulnerabilities, and disruptions that can erode trust. Good stewardship isn’t just about fixing what’s broken — it’s about creating a digital foundation that helps your ministry flourish. If your organization is ready to strengthen its online presence, I’d love to support you in that journey. #MinistryTech #DigitalStewardship #FaithAndTechnology #ChurchCommunications #NonprofitTech #WordPressCare #HubSpotCMS #WebsiteMaintenance #VineAndCode #DigitalMinistry #TechForGood #ChristianOrganizations

Web Accessibility in 2026: Legal changes you need to know about Coming in April & May of 2026 are some changes to the rules in the US regarding web accessibility. But what does that mean for businesses & non-profits? What is actually "enough"? How do you know if you are "high risk"? What questions should you ask for hiring (cause you don't have 1,000 hours to learn this stuff)? Who is responsible for what parts? Is it just websites, or does it cover other things? What is the risk if I ignore it? Those and more questions will be answered! https://lnkd.in/eRknma9c

🚦 Traffic Tuesday: How to Get More People to Visit Your Website (Simple + Actionable) Let me show you this like I would a friend sitting next to me — no tech talk, just what works. Step 1: Pick ONE reason to visit your site Finish this sentence: 👉 People should visit my website to _______ (learn something, solve a problem, book a call, donate, etc.) If this isn’t clear, traffic won’t stick. Step 2: Answer ONE real question people are asking Go to Google and type a question your customers or members ask. Look at autocomplete or “People also ask.” Pick ONE question. Step 3: Create ONE simple page You don’t need a new website. Just one helpful page: • Headline: restate the question • Short answer: 2–3 sentences • Simple steps: bullets or numbers • One next action: call, book, read more Done. Step 4: Share the SAME link in 3 places Don’t create more content. Reuse it: 1. Google Business Profile 2. Facebook or LinkedIn 3. Email or text a few people Say: “I answered this question and thought it might help you.” Step 5: Do this once a week 1 question 1 page 3 shares In 30 days, Google notices. People recognize you. Step 6: Track ONE thing Did someone new visit your site this week? If yes → keep going. If no → repeat the process. Traffic isn’t chased. It’s built.

Think of them as Google’s "Health Score" for your user experience. There are three main pillars you need to know #CoreWebVitals #WebDevelopment #NonprofitMarketing #StayplainStudio #SEOExperts #websitespeed #ngo #wordpressspeed
Are your donors leaving before they even see your mission? A 1-second delay doesn’t just test patience—it kills conversions. 📉 We live in an era of instant gratification. If your nonprofit or business website takes more than three seconds to load, over 50% of your visitors are gone. They aren't just bouncing; they are abandoning their carts and taking their donation dollars elsewhere. It is heartbreaking to pour resources into campaigns and storytelling, only to have the technical foundation fail you. But it gets worse. It’s not just about losing humans; you are losing the search engines too. Google now ranks websites based on Core Web Vitals. If your site is slow, unstable, or unresponsive, Google effectively hides you from the people trying to find you. You are losing visibility and credibility simultaneously. So, what exactly are Core Web Vitals? Think of them as Google’s "Health Score" for your user experience. There are three main pillars you need to know: 👉Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): Loading Speed. How fast does the main content appear? If it’s over 2.5 seconds, your site is "sluggish." 👉 Interaction to Next Paint (INP): Responsiveness. When a donor clicks "Donate," how fast does the site react? Delays here create frustration and mistrust. 👉 Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS): Visual Stability. Does your text or buttons jump around while loading? This causes mis-clicks and immediate exits. Ignoring these isn't an option anymore. You need a technical partner who understands the code behind the cause. This is where Stayplain Studio steps in. We don’t just build websites; we engineer high-performance digital experiences. We optimize your code, compress assets, and stabilize your layout to ensure you pass Google’s test with flying colors. 👉The Proof: Google studies show that improving Core Web Vitals can increase conversion rates by over 24%. That is a quarter more funding for your mission, just by fixing your speed. Don't let a slow website be the reason you miss your fundraising goals this year. Let’s discuss: Have you checked your site speed lately? Drop a "Website Speed" in the comments, like, share, follow and I’ll send you a free link to test your Core Web Vitals right now for free! #StayplainStudio #CoreWebVitals #WebDevelopment #NonprofitMarketing #SEOExperts #websitespeed #ngo #wordpressspeed #webdesign Stayplain Studio | Top Website Design & Digital Marketing Agency

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank one of our technology partners, Activepieces. Activepieces is an open-source, AI-first, no-code automation platform for building workflows that connect apps and services. It’s a powerful and flexible alternative to tools like Zapier, with both cloud and self-hosted options, a visual builder for non-technical users, and the ability to add custom code when needed. Now let’s zoom out for a moment. We recently moved our newsletter platform to Mailchimp by Intuit as part of an effort to improve how we communicate with our community. One key use case was automatically emailing subscribers whenever we publish a new blog post on our WordPress site. Mailchimp does offer an RSS trigger, but WordPress can be finicky and the trigger doesn't always fire reliably. That is where Activepieces came in. Using Activepieces, we built a workflow with the following steps: 1️⃣ Step 1 (WordPress New Post Trigger): Triggers when a new WordPress blog article is published 2️⃣ Step 2 (Send HTTP Request): Queries Mailchimp for the subscriber list and unique user IDs 3️⃣ Step 3 (Send HTTP Request): Pulls key details from the blog post to include in the email 4️⃣ Step 4 (Optional Send HTTP Request): Gathers image details from the blog post 5️⃣ Step 5 (Text Helper): Removes HTML tags from the blog excerpt for clean email formatting 6️⃣ Step 6 (Code): Processes the logic required for Mailchimp’s automation flow 7️⃣ Step 7 (Send HTTP Request): Triggers the Mailchimp API to send the automation email Because this runs through a Mailchimp automation, we can also tag subscribers by behavior like Did Not Open, Opened – Did Not Click, and Opened – Clicked. That gives us much better options for thoughtful follow-ups in the future. And here is why we really hope this reaches other #NonProfits. Like most nonprofits, we are extremely cost conscious. We want fundraising dollars going toward impact, not software licenses. Activepieces starts at free. Not limited trials. Free as in up to 10 active workflows with unlimited runs. If you need more, plans start at just $5 per month per flow. That is a huge win for small teams trying to automate smartly without blowing the budget. Big thanks to the Activepieces team for building such a practical and accessible product. #NonProfits #NonprofitTech #Automation #OpenSource #TechForGood (Screenshot below of our actual flow)
