Gen. Stephen Whiting, #USSPACECOM commander, attended the 2026 NATO Space Operations Commanders Conference this week at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The annual conference brought together commanders and subject matter experts to strengthen cooperation, share expertise and deepen strategic ties across the Alliance and with partner nations. “Space is a team sport, and every partner and allied nation here this week plays a critical role,” said Whiting. “The opportunity to share perspectives and best practices will strengthen our integrated approach and help ensure there is never a day without space.” Read more: https://lnkd.in/ghDWtx72 NATO Allied Air Command

Thank you Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University for hosting our Joint Forces Development and Training team. AAMU's cutting-edge research allows us to better understand options, solutions and innovative opportunities to ensure we can address national security and maintain space superiority.
Alabama A&M University recently hosted officials from @US_SpaceCom for a strategic research briefing that marked the command’s first formal engagement with AAMU researchers as SpaceCom establishes its headquarters in Huntsville. Among featured researchers was Dr. Kaveh Heidary, professor of electrical engineering and director of the RISE Center for Sensors and Systems in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. #StartHere More: https://lnkd.in/gb8uf_Xv

A rocket launch to orbit + a Minuteman III test launch within hours of each other--Space Launch Delta 30’s team delivers excellence daily. Assured access to space is no longer just a capability; it is an absolute requirement of our national security. 👇
Two launches. Four hours. One mission set. Within a four-hour span, Vandenberg Space Force Base executed back-to-back launch operations demonstrating the unmatched pace, precision and readiness of the nation’s premier West Coast Spaceport and Test Range. A Falcon 9 carrying 24 satellites to low-Earth orbit lifted off at 7:42 p.m., May 19, followed by an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile operational test launch at 12:01 a.m., May 20. Together, the dual launches showcased the coordination, technical excellence and operational discipline required to execute both space launch and strategic deterrence missions simultaneously — sustaining an operational tempo at Vandenberg not seen since the Cold War era. The ICBM test also marked the final Vandenberg launch for Col. Dorian Hatcher, Space Launch Delta 30 deputy commander for operations, before departing to serve as the U.S. Space Forces-Korea commander. Thank you USSF Combat Forces Command for clearing things up. While CFC's mission is vital, #USSPACECOM is a separate organization –– a combatant command –– which includes all service members from across the Joint Force, not just #USSF Guardians. And, while we have enjoyed our time in Colorado alongside CFC, we are ensuring an expeditious and professional transition to Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
The following Public Service Announcement is bought to by your friends at USSF Combat Forces Command. While CFC and our mission partners at United States Space Command have been doing what we do for many years now, there's still some confusion in the general public about the important differences between the two separate organizations and their different missions. We also have to frequently explain to folks that while USSPACECOM is moving its HQ to Alabama, we in CFC aren't going anywhere. We hope this explainer helps clear things up!
