At Snap, supporting young people online is a responsibility throughout Mental Health Awareness month and all year long. That’s why we’re introducing Digital Wellness Check, a new video series exploring what digital well-being looks like for teens today and how we can help build online spaces where they can flourish. Our first conversation brings together Jacqueline Beauchere, Snapchat’s Global Head of Platform Safety, and Dr. Dan Reidenberg to discuss why the conversation around youth mental health and technology should move away from fear and toward practical, reality-based support. Grounded in insights from Snap’s Digital Well-Being Index, this work reflects a simple truth: teen well-being is shaped by the full picture, both online and offline.
