Collins Aerospace recently participated in the Concept Focused Warfighting Exercise (CFWE) and Cross Domain Fires (CDF) event at Fort Sill. The exercise brought together soldiers, experimentation teams, and industry partners, including Raytheon, to assess how emerging capabilities and integrated tech can support the US Army's evolving fires and autonomy ecosystem. Events like CFWE provide a valuable opportunity to exchange insights and explore how advancements in command, control, and communications systems may shape future operations. The U.S. Navy has approved Raytheon’s StormBreaker smart weapon for operational use on the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. StormBreaker is the only operational smart weapon capable of engaging moving and stationary targets in fair and adverse weather, on land or at sea. Its compact size allows a single aircraft to engage more surface targets, and its ability to strike mobile targets helps reduce the time aircrew spend in harm’s way. This approval marks another milestone following StormBreaker’s successful performance on the Super Hornet since first being carried by the aircraft in 2023. Learn more: https://rtxcorp.co/4s4MnAb
