Our AI drone controller allows operators to direct several drones using natural language, through text or speech. From trial to operations in under two months💪 Our people have supported the Royal Air Force (RAF) to bring a game-changing new weapon to the frontline in less than two months. APKWS, a precision-guided, low-cost weapon, is now being flown by RAF Typhoon aircraft in the Middle East helping them to counter uncrewed air systems. Having completed an initial firing trial in March, we worked alongside the RAF to conduct a further trial before being deployed on operations with Eurofighter Typhoon jets from the RAF’s 9 Squadron. As the UK’s sovereign provider of combat air capability, we play a crucial role in supporting the UK Armed Forces - working closely to develop technologies that strengthen our national defence capabilities.

From work experience to national recognition, Brandon has been named The King's Trust’s Young Achiever of the Year 🎉 After joining a BAE Systems work experience programme organised by Movement to Work in 2023, Brandon approached the opportunity with determination while facing challenges with confidence, self-belief and mental health. His potential was quickly recognised by his mentor, Frazer, who also came through the programme and in September 2023 Brandon joined BAE Systems as a Data Analyst.
