  • Our AI drone controller allows operators to direct several drones using natural language, through text or speech. This moves the focus from manual flying to mission-level command, with no joystick required. Now in testing, the system has shown that drones can follow verbal commands while staying within defined safety boundaries. Next, we’re bringing it to military-spec platforms. • From trial to operations in under two months💪 Our people have supported the Royal Air Force (RAF) to bring a game-changing new weapon to the frontline in less than two months. APKWS, a precision-guided, low-cost weapon, is now being flown by RAF Typhoon aircraft in the Middle East helping them to counter uncrewed air systems. Having completed an initial firing trial in March, we worked alongside the RAF to conduct a further trial before being deployed on operations with Eurofighter Typhoon jets from the RAF’s 9 Squadron. As the UK’s sovereign provider of combat air capability, we play a crucial role in supporting the UK Armed Forces - working closely to develop technologies that strengthen our national defence capabilities.

Our Herne XLAUV is designed to deliver integrated military operational advantage in complex underwater battlespaces. Working with Thales’ advanced ISR mast, we’re combining a modular platform with rapid 360-degree image capture to enhance surface ISR from subsea platforms, while reducing above-surface exposure.   This kind of collaboration matters. It helps us bring together technologies to respond to evolving threats with greater pace and confidence.
