Looks cool but…what is it? Any guesses, #AvGeeks? 🤔 Hint: Avio Aero helps manufacture these for a certain widebody engine!

GE Aerospace has been awarded a Defense Logistics Agency contract to increase readiness of the J85 engine, which powers the U.S. Air Force’s primary training aircraft, the T-38. Through this agreement, GE Aerospace will work with Palantir to apply artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to predict when parts will be needed, identify emerging supply chain constraints, and provide users with a comprehensive view that enables faster decision-making and ultimately a more ready force. https://bit.ly/40rcBRk Photo: U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Careers don’t grow in isolation – they grow in community. 🤝 For employees like Devon Shepherd and Arend Dorsett, college internships were just the beginning. What truly shaped their paths were the people who took time to mentor them, created space for them to lead, and opened doors to new opportunities. Today, they are doing the same for others — guiding complex operations and quality teams, supporting STEM students, and helping build a strong pipeline of future leaders across GE Aerospace. As we mark 35 years of the African Affinity Forum (AAF), we’re celebrating the employees whose commitment to one another has changed career trajectories, strengthened our culture, and helped build a more inclusive aerospace industry. https://bit.ly/4tWhIa2 #GEAerospaceCrew #BHM #BlackHistoryMonth

At any given time, there are approximately 1 million people in the sky with technology made by #GEAerospace and our joint partners under wing. It is a tremendous responsibility, which is why we invest in innovative technologies to help maintain safety and quality throughout the life of an engine, keeping our customers flying safely and reliably. Watch how we use ultrasonic inspections to help us detect what the eye can’t see.
