It was a pleasure to sit down with Kevin Feltes at the top of this year's Financial Data Exchange Global Summit to discuss the future of open finance — and how we can work together as an ecosystem to drive it forward responsibly and at pace with the massive consumer demand we're seeing for secure, seamless, and accessible financial solutions. I've spent my career at the intersection of data, payments, and innovation, and I truly believe that open finance has the power to transform financial management by empowering consumers and small businesses—especially those who have traditionally lacked access—to benefit from their data. The digital divide is real, and there are so many whose needs are not being met. Open finance, with its ability to leverage alternative data sources to increase access and personalize experiences, plays a critical role in overcoming this divide.
