This week, I finally got to meet my very distributed marketing team at Eightfold AI in person. We spent the day in a StrengthsFinder workshop. (The ducks in the photo were our "stress busters"). I had a major realization: While my Achiever and Futuristic traits are great for setting the vision, I need to lean into the Harmony and Connectedness of the people around me to actually get there. One of the most powerful moments? Hearing two team members realize why they used to "butt heads." It wasn't a personality clash—it was just two different strengths trying to solve the same problem from different angles. We’re all navigating a lot of change right now—at work and in the world at large. Taking a step back to see how the puzzle pieces fit together has given us the energy we need for the next sprint. AI is advancing faster than most organizations know how to absorb. Many are still figuring out how to translate that into real work. I joined Kyle Forrest on Deloitte’s #CapitalH podcast to talk about what it takes for leaders to move from AI curiosity to real adoption, including what it means to be “customer zero.” At Eightfold AI, that means using our own AI across hiring and talent workflows first, learning from it while strengthening it for customers and building our own fluency.
