Token efficiency is one of the most pressing questions in enterprise AI right now, and it's not just a model pricing problem. It's an AI architecture problem. As AI shifts from chat to agents, token consumption scales with it. Long-running workflows retrieve context, call tools, reason across multiple steps, and pass work between models. Engineering teams are already feeling it, with coding-tool budgets exhausted well ahead of schedule.
