Introducing the Cursor Developer Habits Report. We’re sharing some of our findings on how software development is changing. It’s based on the most comprehensive dataset on AI coding in the world, across all model families. Five themes emerged in our research: developer acceleration, the economics of intelligence, the power user gap, the rise of context, and the shift to automation. Faire uses Cursor’s cloud agents as their default platform for agentic development, replacing an in-house background agent system. Since switching to Cursor, the team has doubled their weekly PR throughput. A migration that would have taken a full team 18 months is now run by a single engineer directing a fleet of agents. They’ve also set up automations that kick off over 2,000 agent runs each week to triage bugs, fix CI failures, and route code reviews. "Cursor's cloud offering is a lot better than running local agents with worktrees or 10 remote environments you're shelling into. It's a streamlined UX for managing multiple concurrent agents," said Luke Bjerring, Principal Engineer at Faire. Learn more here: cursor.com/blog/faire

You can now create and manage automations in the same workspace as your agents. Automations are now available in the Agents Window. For the next 7 days, all agent runs for newly created automations are 50% off. This release also introduces the ability for users to attach multiple repos to an automation, or create automations without any repos at all.
