AMA Lincoln joins the Nebraska marketing community in mourning the loss of Dr. Sanford “Sandy” Grossbart, pictured on the right alongside fellow AMA Lincoln Marketing Hall of Fame inductee Rob Simon. Sandy’s impact on marketing education, scholarship, and leadership in Lincoln reached across generations. As a recent inductee into the AMA Lincoln Marketing Hall of Fame, he leaves behind a legacy of curiosity, mentorship, and service that helped shape countless students and professionals. We extend our deepest condolences to Sandy’s family, friends, former students, and colleagues. His influence will continue to ripple through the marketing community for years to come.

It was an honor to receive a Prism award in the "Product Launch Campaign" category and a Sterling award in the "In-person Event" category from AMA Lincoln last week. Developing the rollout for University of Nebraska-Lincoln's student success chatbot, Cornelius, in the fall involved a lot of late nights, "do you have a minute" pings, and collaborations with wonderful campus partners - I could not have done it without them. Building + executing the launch this fall was an ideal professional challenge - something completely new, allowing me to lean on the foundation of my existing skills while stretching and growing new ones to get the job done. It has been incredibly gratifying to see the impact - on students and campus partners - as well as the recognition from organizations like AMA Lincoln. I may not have been able to attend in person to accept it, but luckily I had a great team of colleagues to send in my place! A special thank you to Sammy Konecky for her design work on this project - what a way to send her off to graduation.
