Inpatient is different: in roughly half of all encounters there's no conversation to capture, and 70% of clinically important diagnoses have no signal in a transcript at all. Most ambient AI vendors in healthcare measure utilization by asking, "Did the clinician ever use the product?" But we think that's the wrong question. If most of your clinicians are using a tool but only using it in a few visits each day, you're not seeing the benefit.
