We were proud to host the Leadership Salon on Women’s Heart Health in Denver last week in support of Sandy Goldstein MSHSA, BSN, RN, CPHQ, NEA-BC’s Women of Impact campaign benefiting the American Heart Association. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women, yet it is still too often under-recognized and under-treated, an important reminder during Women’s History Month of the work still ahead. From perspectives on reshaping how people access care to a discussion on prevention and early detection, one theme came through clearly: there is real opportunity to improve outcomes for women, especially through earlier action and the role employers can play. Grateful to our co-hosts Mercer and everyone who helped make it such a meaningful evening.
