At Alcoa, stopping work and seeking help when something doesn’t feel safe is a fundamental expectation across all our operations worldwide. It’s how we care for one another and ensure everyone goes home safely. One example of this shared commitment is the Stop and Seek Help: Every Action Counts program in North America. In 2025, employees across the region recorded nearly 3,000 moments where someone chose to pause, raise a concern and prevent a potential incident before work continued. Across Canada and the United States, each of these actions also supported local community organizations selected by employees, turning everyday safety decisions into meaningful contributions for charities focused on food security, mental health, youth development, animal welfare and more. Congratulations to our partners at ELYSIS LP for achieving another significant step toward the future of low‑carbon aluminum production. The team has now demonstrated more than one year of anode life in testing at the ELYSIS Industrial R&D Center, a strong validation of the durability and long‑life potential of their inert anode materials. #Alcoa is proud that the zero‑carbon emissions smelting technology originally developed by our company provided the foundation of the #ELYSIS joint venture. This milestone reinforces the strength of the technology’s core chemistry under industrial conditions and brings the industry one step closer to large‑scale deployment. • Learn about Alcoa’s role and the origins of the technology: https://bit.ly/428HdHC • See the full announcement from ELYSIS: https://bit.ly/4aOmMFA

Alcoa’s Director of Commercial Sustainability, Israel Abad Sanz, joined Ball Corporation and Unilever at #ADF in Paris to discuss the power of collaboration in advancing low-carbon packaging solutions using ELYSIS® aluminum. The discussion highlighted a few important themes shaping the future of sustainable packaging: • Value-chain collaboration is critical — connecting material innovation with packaging manufacturing and brand demand helps move low-carbon solutions from concept to real-world application. • Credible, material-based solutions build trust — environmental attributes tied to the physical material itself are essential to maintaining confidence and transparency. • Innovation at the source matters — technologies like ELYSIS® show how primary aluminum production itself can evolve to reduce direct emissions. The discussion reinforced the importance of engaging with our peers at ADF as we collectively advance low carbon materials and solutions. #ELYSIS #SustainablePackaging #LowCarbonAluminum #Innovation #Alcoa
