At Alcoa, stopping work and seeking help when something doesn’t feel safe is a fundamental expectation across all our operations worldwide. It’s how we care for one another and ensure everyone goes home safely. One example of this shared commitment is the Stop and Seek Help: Every Action Counts program in North America. In 2025, employees across the region recorded nearly 3,000 moments where someone chose to pause, raise a concern and prevent a potential incident before work continued. Across Canada and the United States, each of these actions also supported local community organizations selected by employees, turning everyday safety decisions into meaningful contributions for charities focused on food security, mental health, youth development, animal welfare and more. Congratulations to our partners at ELYSIS LP for achieving another significant step toward the future of low‑carbon aluminum production. The team has now demonstrated more than one year of anode life in testing at the ELYSIS Industrial R&D Center, a strong validation of the durability and long‑life potential of their inert anode materials. #Alcoa is proud that the zero‑carbon emissions smelting technology originally developed by our company provided the foundation of the #ELYSIS joint venture.
