Mike Andronico joined CNN Underscored in November 2020 as a Senior Tech Writer, focusing on helping people find the best gadgets for their needs via original columns and tested reviews. With a wide range of beats that include audio, computing and gaming, Andronico has embedded himself within the VR fitness community, made a strong case for ditching AirPods, and launched Influenced: a weekly interview series that spotlights the tech that content creators use to get their job done.
Prior to joining CNN, Andronico worked at consumer technology website Tom’s Guide, where he joined as a staff writer in 2013 and eventually worked his way up to U.S. Editor-in-Chief in 2020. He’s helped lead coverage for some of the world’s biggest tech events and product launches, including CES, E3 and the arrival of the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
A lifelong New Yorker, Andronico was born in the Bronx and currently resides in Astoria, Queens with his french bulldog. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Purchase College.
