It started with aprons, hair nets, and a quick “let’s do this” — and before we knew it, we were knee-deep in meal prep at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ). As part of our 1% club activity , our team spent the day preparing meals for underprivileged children and elderly community. What seemed like simple tasks—preparing meal, mixing ingredients, packing boxes, washing trays—quickly turned into something much more meaningful. There was something powerful about stepping away from our usual routines and coming together with one shared purpose—to help ensure that no one has to worry about their next meal. We left feeling grateful—not just for the chance to give back, but for the reminder that impact doesn’t always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it starts with showing up and doing your part.
