Growth in South Africa!🌍 In 1976, Degussa South Africa laid an important foundation for the company’s future in the region. Based in Randburg, the sales and service organization initially focused on chemical activities and gradually expanded its scope. Over the following years, the company first relocated to Johannesburg and later to the Midrand industrial park. During this time, its local presence and commitment continued to grow steadily. A major milestone came in 2000 with the acquisition of Alliance Peroxide in Umbogintwini. Since then, the site has been producing hydrogen peroxide. #Evonik #EvonikHistory #tbt

Wachstum in Südafrika!🌍 1976 wurde mit Degussa South Africa ein wichtiger Grundstein gelegt. Mit Sitz in Randburg startete die Vertriebs- und Servicegesellschaft zunächst mit Fokus auf chemische Aktivitäten und entwickelte sich Schritt für Schritt weiter. In den folgenden Jahren zog das Unternehmen zunächst nach Johannesburg und später in den Industriepark Midrand. Parallel dazu wuchs das Engagement vor Ort kontinuierlich.
