💷 What is fair pay for CEOs? Is it whatever their shareholders agree on? Or do modern businesses have a duty to beyond just their owners, but to wider society? Earlier this week Zegona Communications Plc – a not very well known telecoms company listed on the stock market – paid its boss £131 million. That's more than 2000x what a resident doctor earns. Big milestone yesterday for Zen Internet's partnership with Freedom Fibre. After great collaborative working, integration, and testing, we are now fully live with selling Zen's award-winning full fibre broadband over Freedom Fibre's network via our Consumer sales team. Over the coming weeks, we'll launch in our Fibre Hub, so our channel partners can benefit from access to this new full fibre footprint at market-leading pricing. We'll also launch shortly in our online order journey. In addition to Consumer FTTP, we'll also shortly launch Business FTTP, E/O FTTP, and EAD-equivalent over the Freedom Fibre network, giving us and our partners a full suite of B2B connectivity services. Focus now is on ramping up volume! Great to see improved mobile connectivity going live in Bath 📶   Through our partnership with Ontix and collaboration with Bath & North East Somerset Council, we’ve deployed new small cells across some of the city’s busiest areas. These will boost network capacity and help ensure O2 (Telefónica UK) customers experience fast, reliable connectivity, even during the busiest periods.   Bath attracts millions of visitors each year, so enhancing connectivity across the city centre and key tourist areas will make a real difference for residents, businesses and visitors.   This is part of our wider Mobile Transformation Plan, with £700m being invested this year to future-proof the network and deliver targeted improvements where demand is highest.   Read the full article here 👇 https://lnkd.in/eRMtxsin
