CNE provides a valuable space for discussion across defence, industry and government, and we’re pleased to be part of the conversations taking place this week. Attending alongside Marine AI and ZeroUSV, we’re showcasing our combined capability across subsea engineering, autonomy and uncrewed surface systems. First Sea Lord, Gwyn Jenkins has announced a growing need for hybrid navies at the event; we are proud to be contributing to this with vessels such as XV Excalibur, and to be in the UK's National Centre for Marine Autonomy, at the forefront of this development. MSubs has recently partnered with Teledyne Marine and City College Plymouth to support skills development across defence, engineering and marine autonomy. The partnership aims to strengthen local capability while supporting the ambitions of the UK Defence Industrial Strategy and creating opportunities for Plymouth’s young people. We were pleased to attend the college’s apprentice open day, speaking with students and staff about pathways into engineering and maritime technology. It was encouraging to see such strong interest and enthusiasm for developing practical skills in this space.
