Box with God - directed by Studio Private's Thomas Harrington Rawle for Daisy Maybe. Now on DIRECTORS' LIBRARY Exploring alien order within the everyday. The music video draws on Rawle’s interest in rituals embedded within the everyday, and in the idea of external forces quietly shaping behaviour. Echoes of Invasion of the Body Snatchers emerge in the transformation of the cast, as human forms are subtly reconfigured into a unified, otherworldly entity. Link in comment to watch!

The latest addition to the MontanariPR distribution roster sees Spanish director Amanda Lago reflect on identity, language, and presence. Movement slips into trance; repetition becomes a form of remembering. Sound does not accompany the image, it emerges from it. Non Ad Locum is an experimental film inhabiting a liminal state, where a body stands at the threshold between silence and speech. A meditation on that in-between space where truth does not resolve, but slowly surfaces. We are delighted to be working again with Amanda Lago on the film distribution of her work.

Tinygiant director, Trevor McMahan, has tapped into a very longing everyone has now and then. His short film is a human story about digital exhaustion and the fantasy of starting over. Ironically, it was shot entirely on an LED volume stage. What began as a test for an LED volume wall in Geneva evolved into a narrative that shows virtual production technology can serve character-driven storytelling, not just blockbuster action. McMahan has turned that idea into a written story deeply embedded in his own very human life. Read the full piece on The Stable — link in comments! Thanks candide McDonald for the opportunity.
