  • You’ll not find a headline called “GCSE revision” in the latest Ofsted inspection framework, as it’s woven through almost everything inspectors look at.   From curriculum design to learner wellbeing, revision tells a powerful story about how well learning sticks.   In our recent blog post, we unpack what the 2025 Ofsted documentation says about GCSE revision strategies, how the "3 I's" (Intent, Implementation, and Impact) apply, and how adaptive learning tools like Adaptive Revise help schools clearly evidence that impact. What a day! 🌟 Nearly 40 teachers, leaders, trust leads and LA advisers from across England joined us at Manor Park Primary Academy for our LEO Academy Trust Disciplinary Literacy Discovery Day. This was sponsored by Hachette Learning Professional Development. It was a privilege to host colleagues and trust leads from across the country for a day of shared learning and collaboration. Key areas covered: ✅ We had excellent input from Phillip Hedger, CEO at LEO Academy Trust and Tom Haydon-Davies, representing Hachette Learning. I also completed a keynote on disciplinary literacy across the primary curriculum - I even got to sign some books! ✅ Classroom visits providing a first-hand look at high-quality teaching and learning in action. ✅ The brilliant principal and vice principals shared their context and what disciplinary literacy looks like at their school. ✅ Direct discussions with our teachers and pupils, who shared their experiences and the impact of their curriculum. A huge thank you to our sponsors, Hachette Learning, for supporting this event. Finally, a massive well done to the incredibly talented staff at Manor Park and the wider LEO team. Your dedication made this high-impact day possible, showcasing the very best of what we do. Many thanks to Tammy Poggo Daisy Jervis Alex Sharratt Seshni Jacobs and the Hachette Learning team. Lovely to chat with Fahri Francis Carla Myrie @SarahNorth Kirstie Hewett Tishauna McMaster-Isaacs and others representing nearly 7000 learners. #LEODiscoveryDay #DisciplinaryLiteracy

  • We're reflecting on an energising few days at the inaugural CXC Regional Education Conference in Jamaica.   Bringing together educators, policymakers, and partners from across the Caribbean, the conference created space for meaningful conversations about where education is heading and what it will take to get there.   It was a pleasure to connect with so many of you at our stand and through our session, where Denise Watts-Lawrence shared practical approaches to demystifying data and turning it into meaningful classroom impact.   A huge thank you to CXC and regional partners for convening such an important dialogue. As discussions continue, including the important step of bringing student and parent voices into future conversations, we’re proud to stand alongside the Caribbean education community in unlocking every learner’s unique potential.   📸 Take a look at some highlights from the event below!   #CXCConference #Education #CaribbeanEducation #FutureOfLearning #EdTech #HachetteLearning

Back from an inspiring trip to India and still reflecting on what makes Hachette Learning so special. We often talk about being a global business but seeing first-hand how far and wide we operate truly brings the scale of what we’ve built into focus. Spending time with our India team was a powerful reminder of the talent, passion, and drive that exists across our organisation – I love to see it! What really stood out for me (in addition to the delicious food) was the school visits and the engaging conversation with head teachers and curriculum specialists. A special thank you to Shiv Nadar School, Mr Sameer Arora and Ms. Sai Bhavya Prabu. I also had the opportunity to cement our partnership with ABP Learning which we announced last year. As a former teacher, I’m proud that we continue to raise classroom standards globally. Our collaboration with Yash Mehta and his team at ABP Learning not only strengthens our presence in India but supports our shared goal of helping every learner reach their full potential. I’m excited about what the future holds for this strong partnership. A truly memorable visit. Thank you to our country manager Parvesh Mathur and business partners for hosting me during my visit and providing opportunities for me to experience all that India has to offer, amidst our very busy work schedule! #HUK #HLPD
