🚢 Did you know? Australia’s Hunter class frigates each consist of 78 units which form 22 individual blocks. With a new unit starting every two weeks, we’re on track to roll the first ship out of the construction hall and onto the hardstand in 2028. Learn more about Ship 1’s progress at http://baes.co/Q4Ps50YWoJ3 #AusNavy #HunterClassFrigates

I was doing dimensional control of ship build “blocks” and “mega blocks” over 25 years ago, this isn’t anything new.

That's a fascinating insight into Australia's naval fleet expansion! The pace must be incredible. Do you know what specific challenges they might face with such an ambitious build schedule? Looking forward to hearing about how Ship 1's progress unfolds next year at the Baes site, especially when it finally hits that hardstand for its first sea trials in August if everything goes smoothly as planned. #AusNavy #NavalEngineering
