In this episode of The Further, Faster podcast, Jeff Becker sits down with Caspar Barnes, the founder of AminoChain. Caspar's journey began at age 12 when a diagnosis of malignant melanoma sparked a lifelong fascination with biology. After discovering that patients lose all "agency" over their bio-samples once they leave the operating room, Caspar set out to build a decentralized research ecosystem. Now, after raising $7.8 million from Andreessen Horowitz, AminoChain is building a platform that lets patients track how their donated samples are used in preclinical and clinical research—and even earn money back when those samples are commercialized. This episode is a must-watch for aspiring founders, biotech enthusiasts, and patient advocates who want to see how a personal experience with cancer transformed into a mission to give patients true agency and financial stakes in the multi-billion dollar medical research industry. 🚀 🚀 🚀

I'm super happy to announce that we have raised €1.5M in pre-seed funding led by Alliance VC. Roughly a year ago Oliver and I started Endform because we thought E2E tests could be run much more efficiently. Not because the tests were slow individually, but because CI infrastructure forced them to run sequentially or in small batches. With Endform every Playwright test gets its own isolated machine, which unlocks new levels of performance. We've built everything on our own so far. Engineering, sales and marketing. This investment allows us to start hiring and build a founding team to take it to the next level. I'm crazy excited for this next chapter! P.S, we're hiring in Stockholm: https://endform.dev/jobs

things I love: - backing great builders like Jakob & Oliver - co-investing with great friends and investors like Anders, Henrik, Dan, Kim + top tier angels 👼 - making testing faster = making development faster = making the world move faster 🏎️ things I don't love but still do: - appear in funding announcement videos back to building 🌋

Caspar Barnes is using a $7.8M fundraise to close the 'agency gap' in healthcare, giving patients the power to track and profit from their own bio-samples. Caspar's journey began at age 12 when a diagnosis of malignant melanoma sparked a lifelong fascination with biology. After discovering that patients lose all "agency" over their bio-samples once they leave the operating room, Caspar set out to build a decentralized research ecosystem. A few years ago I remember sitting in a team room at Klarna with Giovanni Casula and Mattia Scolari just after downloading Cursor for the first time. This was our tipping point; we realized that developer workflows would never be the same. But we kept coming back to one question - what could this mean for finance? We realized that disposable financial models were costing us more than we thought. Not just in time, but in context. We began to wonder: what if corporate finance teams had tooling and intelligence as good as what was available to engineering teams? Today we’re sharing our answer. Galdera Labs: financial modeling built for reasoning, not just reporting. To accelerate the vision, Galdera has raised a €1.5M pre-seed round led by J12 (Emmet King) with participation from Antler (Tobias Bengtsdahl) and an incredible group of angels from tech and finance leaders like Klarna, DeepL, Stripe, and Banco Plata - among others. It’s early, but the conviction and support from this team has been nothing short of incredible. We’re currently onboarding with a select group of early partners. If you are an operator in the CFO office, FP&A, or investor relations and thinking about bringing agentic workflows to finance lets connect. We're just getting started.

Why does it still take three weeks to get business insurance? It doesn’t have to. Harper (YC W25) is proving that AI-native workflows can do in 24 hours what traditional brokers take 21 days to finish. Their mission is simple- make Harper the natural first step for every entrepreneur opening their doors. Read the our full profile on Harper now 👉https://lnkd.in/ez-VdTsM

In this episode of The Further, Faster Podcast, Christoph Klink sits down with Daniel Khachab, the Co-Founder and CEO of Choco, to discuss the high-stakes journey of building a global food-tech powerhouse. Daniel shares his "near-death experience" of checking his business dashboard before a flight from New York and landing in Berlin seven hours later to discover that 98% of Choco's revenue had vanished due to the COVID-19 lockdowns. Rather than hibernating, the team chose to play offense, launching an online grocery store across 17 countries in just three weeks to save their distributors' food from going to waste. The conversation dives deep into Daniel's provocative thesis on the future of technology, where he argues that traditional SaaS is being replaced by "interface-less" AI. Daniel provides a masterclass on speed and the necessity of disrupting your own business before someone else does. This episode is a must-watch for anyone interested in the intersection of food sustainability, physical AI, and the relentless pursuit of global scale. Watch now 👉 https://lnkd.in/emBMjPyg

    Awesome 🚀

Drift (Backed by Antler) is the AI-native developer tool for the next generation of robotics. The future runs on robots. But to get there, we need better tools to build them. Today, robotics engineers still spend the majority of their time fighting simulation frameworks and dependencies rather than focusing on the actual robot use cases. Nikhil Kumar and Sanjil Jain decided to fix it. And they built Drift. Instead of wrestling with setup and runtime issues, engineers can now use a simple prompt to create robots, set up ROS workspaces, and run full simulations in a single pass. Congrats on the launch guys Nikhil Kumar and Sanjil Jain 🚀 🚀 🚀
