📢 AREG Hydrogen Position Paper AREG is pleased to share the launch of it Position Paper on Hydrogen, authored by our own Philip Imperiale. Recent critiques have questioned hydrogen’s viability, arguing it is inefficient, over-hyped, or mis-used in public policy. While these concerns are valid, the broader picture is more complex, and more hopeful. 🌍⚡ Our paper, “Hydrogen: Hype or a Critical Piece of the Net Zero Puzzle?”, acknowledges the challenges and limitations but highlights the unique applications where hydrogen is almost perfectly suited. With this piece, we hope to open up the conversation on hydrogen by balancing safety and efficiency concerns with system value, highlighting its potential role in the UK’s energy mix. 🌟Member Monday: RMI🌟 RMI provides bespoke medical, security and HSE solutions that support operations and manage risk for the offshore and onshore wind sector in the UK and internationally. They specialise in tailored services that keep people safe and sites compliant.⚕️ Recently RMI partnered with a major offshore wind farm operator to strengthen first aid capability across their sites. RMI trained all GWO Enhanced First Aiders in the safe, compliant administration of Penthrox, and delivered a package that included provision of medications, 24/7 telemedicine support, a medical & first aid needs assessment, and clinical governance. The client feedback has been extremely positive and they’re now preparing to roll the service out to additional UK sites.
