Francis St-Louis, MBA, LL.B., CD reposted thisI’m genuinely excited to see the continued rollout of MAPS Gen II across such a wide range of platforms. Expanding its integration ensures warfighters have resilient and assured positioning, navigation, and timing even as operational environments become more dynamic and contested. It’s a strong step forward in delivering the protection and confidence they need to operate effectively. Seeing this capability scale across units, combat teams and brigades truly reinforces the commitment to keeping our warfighters one step ahead.Francis St-Louis, MBA, LL.B., CD reposted thisFielding of the Mounted Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing System (MAPS) GEN II hardware is underway across the Army to provide increased operational effectiveness with advanced positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) systems.

Francis St-Louis, MBA, LL.B., CD shared thisCongratulations on this remarkable milestone. As an ERAU Asia MBA graduate, I can say the skills and perspectives I strengthened during that journey have helped shape where I am today. Well done to Embry-Riddle for 100 years of impact, and best wishes as you continue your mission to advance aviation and aerospace education for the next generation. #GoEagles #ERAU100Francis St-Louis, MBA, LL.B., CD shared thisYou can only turn 100 once 🥳 Aviation and Aerospace heritage deserves a legendary centennial celebration. It was fitting to mark this occasion simultaneously across residential campuses with Breakfast in Singapore, High Tea in Prescott, Arizona and Dinner at Daytona Beach, Florida. The ERAU Asia Gala Dinner reflected the best of the aviation industry itself - underpinned by service, passion, teamwork, coordination, efficiency and attention to detail. Personally, I have witnessed 10% of these 100 years as an employee and was honoured to present the Centennial Tribute Video: A highlights reel of well wishes from leadership, alumni, faculty, staff, students and partners from across the globe (and beyond… as one video was sent in from The International Space Station!). This celebration marks the continuing legacy of excellence at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University which started as a plan by T. Higby Embry and John Paul Riddle at Lunken Airfield, Cincinnati to teach the world to fly and has since grown to having a presence in well over 100 countries in 2026. #GoEagles #erau100

Francis St-Louis, MBA, LL.B., CD shared thisA timely reminder that transatlantic cooperation remains central to Europe’s deterrence and long-term security. As highlighted in this Politico piece, policy ambition must be matched by industrial capacity and trusted partnerships across the Atlantic. I am deeply moved to announce my selection as the representative for my home country, Lebanon, in the 195XGlobal initiative—a global movement celebrating "One World, 195 Stories" through the lens of contemporary art. My featured work, "In Flowers," is born from a deeply personal investigation into resilience. In this piece, I explore the thin line between destruction and renewal. The composition is a response to the "ruptures" of war—taking the energy of a blast and intentionally reconstructing it into the vibrant life of a bloom. As an artist with a professional journey based in Dubai, being part of this dialogue with 195 artists from around the world is a profound milestone. Art is not just a medium; it is a position—a space for reflection, reconstruction, and a voice for peace. The event provided an opportunity to demonstrate system performance in an operationally representative environment and validate the capability in close coordination with our government partners. The Fieldranger RWS is one of several mission payloads designed for integration on the Mission Master unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) platform and is adaptable for use across a range of other mission platforms. During the event, the systems successfully fired more than 300 rounds across both day and night iterations, demonstrating consistent performance, precision engagement capability, and robust system reliability. This milestone reflects more than 24 months of close collaboration, development, and testing between industry and government partners. The successful validation event represents an important step forward and highlights the continued progress being made in delivering advanced autonomous and remotely operated capabilities to support future operational requirements. #MissionMaster #UnmannedUnmatched #WarfighterLethality

Francis St-Louis, MBA, LL.B., CD liked thisA strong win for Mirus and easyJet and a clear signal of where the market is heading 🚀 The selection of Kestrel ultra-lightweight seats for the A320neo and A321neo fleet is not just a milestone, it’s a proven case of how the right seating platform can deliver measurable value: improved passenger comfort, optimised cabin density, and meaningful operational cost savings. Across APAC and Oceania, we’re seeing airlines actively re-evaluating their cabin strategies with a sharper focus on ROI. Solutions like fixed recliner platforms are gaining momentum as they offer a compelling balance, enhanced passenger experience with lower weight, reduced maintenance, and better lifecycle economics. For airlines in Asia & Oceania looking to future-proof their cabins, this is exactly the kind of solution that delivers both commercial and passenger benefits. AirAsia is in advanced talks with Chinese aircraft manufacturer COMAC to acquire narrow-body jets. CEO Tony Fernandes confirmed the discussions but did not disclose details such as order size, price, or delivery schedule. Currently, AirAsia operates an all-Airbus fleet of 255 planes, but Airbus has faced persistent supply chain delays. Fernandes said COMAC offers a solid product with the advantage of potentially faster delivery times. Fernandes has flown on COMAC aircraft used by Chinese state-owned airlines and visited the company’s factory. He praised COMAC’s dedication and emphasized that Chinese technology has proven itself in industries like cars, mobile phones, and semiconductors. He warned that ignoring Chinese planes could be a costly mistake in the long run. AirAsia is also evaluating Brazil’s Embraer E2 jets as a possible option for regional routes requiring smaller aircraft. This move aligns with COMAC’s push to expand beyond its domestic market. Several Southeast Asian carriers, including TransNusa, Vietjet, and Lao Airlines, already operate COMAC planes, while Brunei’s GallopAir has ordered 30 aircraft worth US$2 billion. COMAC aims to market its C919, a direct competitor to the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737, internationally and will begin flying it on routes from China to Southeast Asia next year. Beyond fleet expansion, Fernandes wants to establish a low-cost airline hub in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, similar to Dubai’s role as a global connector but focused on budget travelers. The idea is to allow passengers to connect further through short-haul, narrow-body flights. AirAsia is still restructuring its aircraft order book following the pandemic’s impact and expects to finalize this process within two months, after which an official announcement on COMAC acquisitions is expected. We recently completed an extensive EOL maintenance work on two Airbus A320neos for an aircraft lessor, including 12-year checks and repainted the aircraft from the livery of the previous operator to that of the new airline user. #DidYouKnow that end-of-lease maintenance requires precise coordination among lessors, operators, and our team to ensure full compliance of requirements set by the various Civil Aviation Authorities? This also ensures the asset's value is preserved, and operational safety — all of these are critical to ensure a smooth lease return and future asset utilisation. #SepangAircraftEngineering #Airbus #AircraftMaintenance
