It was fitting to mark this occasion simultaneously across residential campuses with Breakfast in Singapore, High Tea in Prescott, Arizona and Dinner at Daytona Beach, Florida. The ERAU Asia Gala Dinner reflected the best of the aviation industry itself - underpinned by service, passion, teamwork, coordination, efficiency and attention to detail. Personally, I have witnessed 10% of these 100 years as an employee and was honoured to present the Centennial Tribute Video: A highlights reel of well wishes from leadership, alumni, faculty, staff, students and partners from across the globe (and beyond… as one video was sent in from The International Space Station!). This celebration marks the continuing legacy of excellence at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University which started as a plan by T. Higby Embry and John Paul Riddle at Lunken Airfield, Cincinnati to teach the world to fly and has since grown to having a presence in well over 100 countries in 2026. #GoEagles #erau100

We were privileged to hear from our special guest speaker, Laurence Chin, whose insights and reflections added meaningful depth to this momentous occasion. With a difference of 12 hours, a highlight of the celebration carried over to the morning in Singapore, when Vice Chancellor Matthew Flaherty and a small group of staff and students joined a live connection to the Daytona Beach and Prescott campuses during their concurrent Centennial Galas, uniting our global Embry-Riddle family across continents in real time—an inspiring reminder of the strength and reach of our worldwide network. We also proudly announced the What’s Next Philanthropy Challenge, an initiative aimed at shaping the future of Embry-Riddle and empowering the next generation of leaders, innovators, and pioneers. The event provided an opportunity to demonstrate system performance in an operationally representative environment and validate the capability in close coordination with our government partners. The Fieldranger RWS is one of several mission payloads designed for integration on the Mission Master unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) platform and is adaptable for use across a range of other mission platforms. During the event, the systems successfully fired more than 300 rounds across both day and night iterations, demonstrating consistent performance, precision engagement capability, and robust system reliability. This milestone reflects more than 24 months of close collaboration, development, and testing between industry and government partners.
