A new chapter begins for air cargo at JFK. Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a member of the SATS Group, has officially launched Building 260, a state-of-the-art cargo terminal at JFK Airport. Developed in partnership with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and Realterm, this 350,000 square foot facility reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability and operational excellence.   The JFK air cargo sector plays a vital role in the regional and national economy, supporting over 93,000 jobs and generating $11.4 billion in annual economic activity.   Michael Simpson, Gateway Services Chief Executive Officer, Americas at WFS, said, “This new facility marks a new era for WFS and air cargo at one of the main gateways to the United States. As SATS celebrates World Safety Day today, we are proud to introduce our new HSSE identity — Home Safe and Secure Everyday — along with six core behaviours that mark a significant step forward in strengthening our culture of safety, security, and care.   Our new identity reflects not only what we do, but who we are and the values we uphold each day across SATS Group. The six core behaviours — I Report, I’m Focused, I’m Trained, I Challenge, I Keep, I Follow — are more than words. Every day, our mission goes far beyond moving cargo, preparing meals, or handling aircrafts. It’s about ensuring that every colleague, every passenger, every aircraft, and every item of cargo or meal prepared reaches its destination safe and secure. Our new HSSE logo, shaped as a shield, symbolises protection. The three lines represent Safety, Security, and Compliance. These prestigious awards recognize SATS Ltd's unwavering dedication to progressive workplace practices, robust tripartite collaboration, and a long-standing commitment to championing workers' welfare.   Kerry Mok shared “SATS is committed to creating an environment where our talented employees can develop to reach their full potential and grow with the company. This is a major milestone for global logistics — FedEx has launched its first direct SIN-ANC freighter flight, which will operate six times weekly. This year’s IATA World Cargo Symposium 2025 provided a strategic platform for SATS Ltd. and Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to engage with global leaders, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to key industry conversations.    Celine Hourcade, Global Head of ESG, and Pedro Garcia, EMEAA CIO, participated in discussions on the future of air cargo, focusing on digitalization and sustainability. They explored ways to rethink procurement for more sustainable operations and highlighted how ONE Record is revolutionizing cargo operations through digital integration.   We proudly announced a new cargo handling contract with Emirates SkyCargo at Frankfurt Airport, marking our 21st station providing specialized services for Emirates worldwide. SATS-Creuers (SCCS), a joint venture between SATS Ltd. and Creuers del Port de Barcelona (Creuers), proudly exhibited at Seatrade Cruise Global 2025 (SCG) in Miami last week. We were joined by Global Ports Holding (GPH), the world’s largest cruise port operator and parent company of Creuers. As SCG celebrates its 40th anniversary, SATS-Creuers also marks its journey as the cruise terminal operator for Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) since 2012.   At SCG, we showcased MBCCS' state-of-the-art facilities and our comprehensive gateway services.
