  • As part of the MedTech Europe Wound Care Sector Group, Mölnlycke is proud to share the new white paper “Shaping the Future of Wound Care in Europe.” Chronic wounds continue to place immense pressure on patients, clinicians, and health systems across Europe - and coordinated, system‑level action is urgently needed. Our group’s goal is to ensure chronic wounds are finally recognised as a public health priority and to support more resilient, outcomes‑driven care pathways. 🩹 Chronic wounds are a hidden epidemic affecting 7,4 to 14,9 million people in Europe, yet they remain under-recognised public health challenges. MedTech Europe’s Wound Care Sector Group’s latest white paper, “Shaping the Future of Wound Care in Europe”, outlines how the barriers driving the chronic wounds epidemic can be addressed through coordinated, EU-wide action focused on three priority areas: • Prevention and patient-centred care • Workforce capacity • Policy and system-level coordination Learn more about our key policy recommendations to recognise chronic wounds as a public health priority via the link below. 👇 _ #ChronicWounds #WoundCare #MedTech #PublicHealth #EUHealthPolicy #PatientCare #HealthcareInnovation #MedTechEurope

  • Today, on the United Nations' Zero Waste Day, we support the urgency of minimising waste in healthcare systems and the need for a responsible approach to waste management. At Mölnlycke, we have a culture of care that values the materials we use, eliminates waste where possible, and encourages innovation across our value chain. We are committed to achieving zero operational waste by 2030, and we’re well on our way - with 96% of operational waste diverted from landfill in 2025. Beyond operational waste, reducing waste from healthcare starts with smart design and responsible use. In 2025, 89% of all Mölnlycke packaging was recyclable and 77% was made from renewable or recycled (PCR) material. Our solutions are designed to extend service life and we work closely with healthcare providers to reduce unnecessary consumption, for example our Mölnlycke ProcedurePaks® help reduce surgical waste in the operating room by up to 90%. Through strong partnerships, we’re also exploring closed‑loop systems that retain the value of resources, while reducing waste, without compromising product safety or patient outcomes. Zero waste is a collective journey - and one that through innovation and partnerships we will advance together. #ZeroWasteDay #Sustainability #Healthcare #Circularity #Molnlycke

Watch as our colleagues Ingela Lundgren and Suvi Szeto discuss what’s led and driven them to work at Mölnlycke, and their views on sustainability. • Today we welcomed a group of young women into our headquarters in honour of Introduce a Girl to Engineering day (IGEday). Through the IGE programme, our Women in Science, Engineering and Operations (WiSE) employee resource group invited these students to explore our labs, learn about our work and discover how we make a global impact in healthcare. With this initiative, we hope to spark their interest in engineering, show them what is possible, and strengthen the future talent our industry depends on. It is also a point of pride for us that about two thirds (64%) of our R&D colleagues are women, representing a strong foundation for diverse perspectives and scientific excellence. Diversity is core to how we innovate, grow and deliver better outcomes for patients and those who care for them. And ultimately, it takes us one step closer to our purpose: to revolutionise care for people and planet. #IntroduceAGirlToEngineering #IGEday2026

  • It’s time to rethink incision care. Surgery has evolved. Incision care hasn’t. Patients are paying the price. This gap is causing patients greater discomfort, increasing healing times, and impacting outcomes. In turn, preventable complications take an added toll on already pressurised healthcare services, with the added costs and resources of managing infections and revisions. At Mölnlycke, we’re joining forces with leading surgeons to redefine what modern incision care within the operating room should look like — evidence driven and built to match the precision of today’s surgical practice. Most complications are preventable. And a complete incision care approach makes that possible. Protecting patients and reducing avoidable pressure on healthcare services is not optional. It’s the foundation of sustainable healthcare. #YourIncisionYourDecision #SurgeryInnovation #IncisionCare #MedTech #SustainableHealthcare

  • The reprocessing of multi-patient devices can contribute to the risk of antimicrobial resistance by generating contaminated wastewater. This is rarely considered in current sustainability assessments. Our white paper calls for a more holistic evaluation of sustainability in the operating room, that includes all relevant environmental aspects. In the Journey of sustainable healthcare, discover the environmental impact. Download our white paper: https://bit.ly/4rXXvik
