Starter
Ship side projects and MVPs. All 18 domains, no feature gates.
One flat plan for the whole spiritual wellness and self-discovery stack. Every plan includes all 18+ domains: Astrology, Vedic, Forecast, Human Design, Chinese Astrology, Feng Shui, Mesoamerican, Vastu, Numerology, Kabbalah, Tarot, Biorhythm, Ayurveda, I-Ching, Crystals, Dreams, Angel Numbers, and Location. Every endpoint, Remote MCP, typed SDKs, drop-in UI, free MIT licensed templates, and the WordPress plugin, with new domains landing in your plan automatically at no extra cost. Your AI agent can reach any domain mid-conversation without changing your bill: 1 request equals 1 unit, REST or MCP, no credit weighting. Opt-in compact MCP responses trim the tokens your model reads on every tool call, lowering agent inference cost while one call still counts as one request.
Every plan is a commercial usage license: build and sell closed-source apps, keep your code private, and ship to any app store. No AGPL, no copyleft, no source disclosure. See the license.

domains one key
Flat, honest, all inclusive.
One flat subscription covers every domain, every transport, and commercial use, with no per domain fee and no credit weighting, and the breadth costs you nothing in depth. Here is how that lands against a legacy astrology API and against self hosting an open source library.

Platform
Count domains as distinct systems, not as features of one. Horoscopes, natal charts, synastry and compatibility are all astrology and count once here, so an honest total can read smaller than a padded one, and a high endpoint count usually means one result split across separately billed calls.

Credit-metered providers bill a different unit: on one such published table a single birth chart draws 50 credits, so divide their allowance by the per call weight before comparing it with a RoxyAPI request quota.

One call, complete resultA natal chart or kundli returns whole in one response instead of splitting into many separately billed calls.
One request returns a complete result, so the advanced layer lives inside the engine instead of inside your integration. RoxyAPI is built by a small, independent team of senior engineers, each with over 20 years building consumer and lifestyle products at scale, including at some of the biggest names in the industry.
Western astrology past the natal chartFixed stars, asteroid goddesses, Arabic lots, Black Moon Lilith, aspect pattern detection, secondary progressions, solar arc directions, annual profections, astrocartography, relocation charts, local space, and the solar, lunar and planetary return charts.

Classical Vedic with the reasoning attachedA yoga verdict carries the classical evidence that triggered it and the precedence rule that silenced it, so an agent can explain a judgement instead of restating a label. Shadbala, bhava bala, ashtakavarga, Arudha padas, Chara Karakas, three avastha systems, and KP sub-lords ship alongside it.

Domains that compose, not just coexistHuman Design is computed FROM the western ephemeris and the I Ching hexagrams rather than bolted on as a separate product line, so every gate activation carries its hexagram, and one forecast request merges western transit events with Vimshottari dasha boundaries and biorhythm critical days into a single time ordered feed. The sidereal and tropical engines are tested to return the same sky at zero tolerance.

Licensing and privacy
The AGPL exposure most teams carry was never a decision: a package manager hands you the free path, so a team installs a Swiss Ephemeris wrapper, ships a network service, and inherits copyleft without reading it. That licence is a private contract with no public registry, so ask any provider for their position in writing.
Own engine, not a Swiss Ephemeris wrapperRoxy Ephemeris is built in house and reads the NASA JPL DE440 ephemeris directly, verified against NASA JPL Horizons. Legacy engines wrap Swiss Ephemeris, a desktop-era calculation library under the AGPL copyleft unless commercially licensed, and a buyer cannot verify from outside which version or licence a provider runs, so ask for the position in writing.
Commercial license on every planBuild and sell closed source apps, keep your code private, ship to any app store, white label for clients, and pass the license audits that funding rounds and acquisitions run. No source disclosure.

EU data residency with an Article 28 DPA on every planStored data stays in Germany, inside the EU, on every plan and for every customer, so an EU buyer gets EU residency by default instead of paying for a regional tier. The processor contract, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, security measures, dated subprocessor register, and breach notification terms are all published, so procurement can review them without contacting us.

Honest footnote: if you need exactly one domain, run your own servers, and are comfortable with copyleft licensing, a free open source library is the cheaper choice. Everything else on this table is where RoxyAPI earns its keep.

Are there hidden credit costs or premium-endpoint surcharges?
Plans use request quotas with no credit weighting or premium endpoint surcharges. A natal chart, a tarot draw and a Remote MCP calculation each consume one quota unit. Estimate your allowance from the calculation calls your application makes.
Is a Data Processing Addendum included?
The published Data Processing Addendum is included on every plan. It describes processor obligations, security measures, subprocessors and applicable transfer safeguards. Service data is stored at rest in Germany; review policy/dpa and its annexes for the processing scope and response-cache details.
Can I use the same API key to access all APIs?
One subscription covers all 18+ domains and every endpoint. Use a secret key for REST and Remote MCP, or a publishable key for permitted browser integrations. There are no separate product subscriptions or per-domain fees.
What comes with a plan besides API requests?
Every plan includes Remote MCP access and the complete API catalog. SDKs for TypeScript, Python, PHP, C#, Go, and Rust, MIT-licensed UI components and templates, embeddable widgets and a WordPress plugin provide ways to build on it. Responses support 10+ languages, with localization coverage documented by domain and field.
Is Remote MCP included, or does it cost extra?
Remote MCP is included on every plan. Each domain provides a Streamable HTTP server for compatible clients that support the required authentication. Calculation tool calls consume the same request allowance as REST; connection guidance is at docs/mcp.
Do you charge per token for AI, or can I bring my own model?
Use your own model and pay its provider separately for inference. RoxyAPI charges for calculation requests, with Remote MCP and SDKs supplying the data and tools your application calls. API request bodies are never persisted. Responses derived from submitted data may be cached for up to 24 hours; Cache-Control: no-store bypasses the cache. Usage metadata retention is in policy/privacy. Your application keeps user profiles and memory.
How accurate are the calculations, and how is that verified?
For the Sun, Moon, planets and Chiron, RoxyAPI returned 231 of 231 positions within 0.32 arcseconds (0.00009 degrees) of NASA JPL Horizons, at a median deviation of 0.05 arcseconds (0.00001 degrees). The open RoxyAPI benchmark checks 17 domains, each against its own named authority, from planets, angles and sidereal charts to calendars, time zones and printed rules, and returned 2,701 of 2,701 values within their stated tolerance; only tarot, crystals, dreams and angel numbers, which have no outside value to measure, are left out. The methodology page documents the verification suite, including 3,683 gold-standard tests; review methodology, the live report at roxyapi.github.io/astrology-api-benchmark and live output in api-reference.
Can I build a commercial, closed-source app and sell it?
The API license permits commercial applications without requiring disclosure of your application source. Usage is covered by the subscription allowance, with no per-user royalties or revenue share charged by RoxyAPI. Review policy/license for permitted use and the applicable terms.
I only need astrology. Is $39 a month worth it?
Starter includes Western natal charts, horoscopes, synastry and transits, plus advanced techniques such as progressions and astrocartography. Vedic charts, KP, dasha and matching methods are also included, alongside every other RoxyAPI domain. Compare the endpoints, verification evidence and request allowance with your requirements before subscribing.
How should I compare API prices?
Compare the request allowance, the calls needed for your feature and the domains included in the subscription. RoxyAPI includes all 18+ domains, Remote MCP and integration tools, with one quota unit per billable calculation request. Published verification evidence and the commercial license are additional checks to make alongside the price.
Why pay when I could build this myself?
A hosted subscription supplies maintained calculations, verification evidence and API access across 18+ domains. It also includes Remote MCP and integration paths through SDKs, supported UI renderers and templates. Compare that scope with the ongoing calculation, localization and operational work your own implementation would require.
How does billing work?
Choose monthly or annual billing at checkout. API access is activated after payment, and the request allowance follows a UTC calendar month independently of the billing cycle. You can inspect live output in the API reference before paying.
When does my monthly request quota reset?
The request allowance resets at the start of each UTC calendar month, independently of your subscription renewal date. Annual plans receive a new allowance each calendar month, and unused requests do not roll over. The account dashboard shows the current allowance and reset date.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
Requests that exceed an enforced monthly or per-minute allowance receive HTTP 429. Starter permits 600 requests per minute, with the other plan limits shown at pricing. RoxyAPI does not add automatic overage charges; you can upgrade when you need a larger allowance.
Can I see my API usage?
The account dashboard shows your request allowance, consumption and usage by domain, including REST and MCP activity. It also provides endpoint summaries and a request log. Usage warning emails help you monitor consumption as it approaches the monthly allowance.
Can I change plans?
You can change your plan or billing cycle from the account dashboard or checkout and keep the same API keys. The new allowance applies after payment. Unused paid value is converted into additional time on the new plan, as shown in the checkout quote.
Do you support multiple languages?
API localization supports 10+ languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, French, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional). Coverage varies by domain and response field, and untranslated content can remain in English. Check the endpoint language options and its live output in api-reference for the reading you need.
Do you provide invoices for payments?
Invoices are issued for payments, including renewals. Directly billed purchases have downloadable invoices in the account dashboard, and billing details can be updated there. If your checkout uses a merchant of record, that seller provides the invoice under its billing terms.

Hi, I am Rosie, your guide to the RoxyAPI insight tools.
Ask me to read your birth chart, pull a card, or map your numbers, and I will interpret what it means for you. Unlike most AIs, I never make the numbers up: every reading runs on real, verified calculations. Curious about the API, pricing, or docs instead? Ask me that too.
