Hello and welcome to the 136th edition of the Screenshot of the Week!

To start with, congratulations to the winner of the previous contest! Clockwork's screenshot from won with 17 upvotes!

Last week's winning screenshot one

To submit a screenshot, simply post it as an answer to this question, but please take note of the following:

  • One screenshot per post, and one post per person, please!
  • Limited picture modifications are allowed, such as cropping, simple filters, and blurring of identifying info such as names, but not adding other images or text.
  • To ensure a fair playing field, please post screenshots you've taken yourself rather than ones you found online.
  • Stack Exchange’s Code of Conduct still applies - so if it would be unacceptable to post normally, it’s unacceptable here.

Also, try to avoid pictures that include spoilers. We want everyone to be able to enjoy this contest, so the less spoilers the better.

How long will the contest run?

We will accept submissions for a week, until March 3, 2025, then have a week-long period where only voting will be accepted. This is to give every submission, even those posted at the end of the first week, a chance to be voted on by everyone.

After the end of the second week, at March 10, 2025, we will count upvotes only to determine the winning screenshot, which will be featured for a week on the main site's photo widget.

Nice blue colour Commented Feb 25, 2025 at 8:17
  • It is even better by now, but don't have a good screenshot of the current version at hand. Adjusted the blue a little and added a hot pink pearl effect - which makes it lok even better. Commented Feb 25, 2025 at 8:19
  • How do you call that type of car shape by the way? Coupé or sedan? Commented Feb 25, 2025 at 8:27
  • 1
A bit of research suggests it is a Coupé, the Comet is inspired by the Porsche 997 GT2 Commented Feb 25, 2025 at 8:54
  • Found a screen of the current variant, though not with such a nice lightning as the picture above: i.imgur.com/0CpMi4O.png Commented Feb 25, 2025 at 8:59

Accidentally tripping on mushrooms in

Purple lights shine off the trunks of dead trees

This whole sequence was really fun. The colours in this section alternated from this very purple point light, to harsh white/greyed out, while "birds" flew overhead and palm fronds flapped. Very trippy

I've had this game for years, but the whole Steam+UPlay thing was kinda annoying. Now that Ubisoft Connect is less in-your-face, AND the achievements have been ported to Steam proper, I've finally decided to revisit it haha Commented Feb 26, 2025 at 13:31

AUGH! That darn cat knocked over my castle wall! Why do cats knock over everything, including my walls?!?!

Minecraft image of a cat standing next to a fallen wall.

Are those pieces matching? It looks like the bottom row does not match the wall? The cat is innocent Commented Mar 1, 2025 at 9:23

great thinking, this is almost like as if you have placed those blocks Commented Mar 1, 2025 at 20:01

Well, it is Minecraft after all, things cannot fall like that (at least not that I'm aware). I found it amusing to stage it like an actual fallen wall. Commented Mar 3, 2025 at 18:15

The corner tower has seems to be leaning over too. Is the cat pulling at it with string? Commented Mar 5, 2025 at 4:34

@ElementsInSpace It just tipped the wall over same way a cat would knock Kleenex box off a coffee table. From what I've seen, the cat is learning how to use bombs to knock over my towers now. (I might actually take a screenshot of that later 🤣) Commented Mar 6, 2025 at 19:55

Cool game, and very good advice (it will make the game more memorable but also more difficult). Commented Feb 25, 2025 at 11:49

"If it can't be repaired, you're probably not using enough duct tape."

A screenshot from the aforementioned RPG. The inventory/backpack is displayed on the left with a few items, for a total of 13.7 kg used on top of the 30 kg of maximum capacity. The player is checking the description of the duct tape, to which the main protagonist says the following: "Water resistant, strong and durable. They say there isn't a thing that can't be repaired by using a lot of duct tape. If it can't be repaired, you're not using enough duct tape."

I think this is a gimmick just to sell more duct tape (nearly wrote ducked tape) Commented Feb 26, 2025 at 0:13
